SKorap, 15 Aug 2018I have the z5 but it broke into half on its own. I can affo... moreXz1 is a great phone. However you would get the usual Sony downgrades with it. Weak speakers, weak flashlight, lacking manual mode in camera, strange design options.
But have in mind this phone has stunning design, pretty good battery life, OK screen and all the smal things that makes it a Sony phone.
If you buy Nokia 8 you will lose out on water resistance and get half-baked app experience. However you would gain a better speaker, dual camera mode with ois. You would also get Nokia pro cam options update.
You would get a superior build quality and extra screen real-estate.
You would lose on optemizetion however.
The other 2 I can't recommend.

I have the z5 but it broke into half on its own. I can afford buying xz1 nokia8 iphone6 and htc u ultra. Which one can I use for two years? -Software update isnot a big issue if it is working just fine.

The best phone I ever had!!! I defenitely recommend to buy. If you have money buy 2! :D Extremely smooth working, no heating, camera is perfect! Really it's truly machine, good job Sony!

Sadly camera on the XZ1 doesn't make a great impact, it can't compete with the latest flagships. Hope it helps.

Ache, 07 Aug 2018Which one should i buy, sony xz1 or htc u11? XZ1 is a complete powerhouse, it has everything you need in a smartphone. The U11 might be good but it doesn't have headphone jack and slow when it comes to updates Sony are pretty fast with the updates and security patches. Get the XZ1 and you won't be disappointed.

I'm not overly careful with it, but I don't abuse it, either. Phone is still in mint condition, no scratches on front glass or camera lens. First time I've gone ceaseless, and I like it. Be a shame to hide the looks and build quality of the XZ1.

I just discovered that swipping on the right side of the home screen you get the shortcut for settings and recently used apps.

Love the beautiful design of the XZ1, hate to put a case as it spoils the beauty but have to cause of the camera hump which I fear could get scratched while lying on a flat surface. Finally got a slim clear case with some protection for the camera.
