ibidon, 14 Feb 2018thats totally wrong z3 compact was king of battery time x... moreXa1 ultra could only lasts for a day, but sony claimed it has 2 days battery life. Is that a liar? I myself using xa1 plus even does not satisfied with the battery life. with normal usage it only last 1.5 days not 2 days.

xa1 ultra users say they easily get a day with a phone using mtk ,6inch, with 2700 mah only
just check if a phone has same battery capacity and compare both.I bet 95% of the time xperia will have better endurance
even with mediocre battery capacity, they score same as a flagship cuz its the perfect hardware with top quality software sony is providing

And the 4K display that the human eye can't notice from 1K....Sonys 4K display is a joke !
And gimmick 960fps camera that only works for maximum time of 0.2 of one second...or one fifth of one second....this could easily win one of your loved polls for gimmick of 2017 !

Samsung flagships sell over 10 times more phones than Sony. And Samsung has won 4 Best smartphones of year awards at gsmarena out of the past 6 years. And Sony won nothing...hahaha...I can't believe that you are arguing this topic...Sony only makes one part in its phones, the camera sensor, but its bad software makes it the worse low light camera in its class...hahaha...Samsung makes over 80% of its own phones.

Speaker on Samsung is the most common and normal placement and is NOT covered when playing games. Both Sony speakers are covered with thumbs when playing most games. Again, stop lying here

Before other major brands had released their new models. Sony has NEVER won a Best Smartphone of the Year award at gsmarena. And 2017, Best Smartphone award hasn't been given yet. In 2016, Best Smartphone of the year was Samsung Galaxy S7.

Although, not a... moreThis been the case in 2016 dude and in all brands, but Sony managed to totally solve this issue in 2017, with the 10nm chipset and Sonys cooling system, Sony managed to solve this problem once and for all and the xz premium is the first smartphone amongst all smartphones in the world to record 4k video recording without stopping because of an increase in temperature.

Unfortunately even Samsung which is supposed to be the biggest smartphone brand still didn't manage to achieve the same result "in long term usage" even though they used to follow Sonys cooling system tech since 2016,

On a bus ... moreThe speaker loudness of the xz1 is average with audio experience but add for it that it is front facing positioned directly to your face unlike the odd position of speaker in Samsung which is blockable easily with your, the front facing stereo speakers in Sony mobiles are impossible to be blocked whatever you do.

On a bus or noisey enviroment, there very hard to hear..e.g. low ring volume. You can check that here at gsmarena. Plus there is a bad position that are easily covered with both fingers when gaming.
