I have been using this phone for two years straight, its still reliable, the battery lasts like the first day i turned it on, it can go from a whole day to 6 hours with heavy use (i use it mainly for drawing and chat with my boyfriend), the camera is amazing...with good ligthing, and the 3d scanner have helped me for my classes.
I think it was refurbished? , it claimed was new but the phone was from 2017 and i got it right before the pandemic, still runs great, but I have not let it upgrade to android 9, and i really hope never needing to do that

Mostly fine w 4g,...but if you hit a dead spot, you may get tossed off the LTE network. When that happens, I can just turn airplane mode on-then-off to reset network antenna...also, phone will not work on any VoLTE networks (at least on Tmobile)

The battery should be a Li-Polymer(if the words printed on battery is correct), I just replaced the original battery few days ago.

If you want to replace the screen need to be careful to install it because of the sensitive back of the screen.

The absolute best phone I have ever used. Running custom Arrow ROM Android 11 almost no bugs. Before rooting it was a only a good phone but now it's damn perfect! Sound quality is insane with V4A. I purchased a used one for £80 from eBay :)

As a good comparison, I took the example of xperia xzs and samsung s7 snapdragon series, they have the same chipset but have different performance with the results of the samsung s7 as a winner in my opinion, because samsung still can run smoothly in high temperature different with xzs, its laggy in high temperature.

Sometimes when I read people opinions about phones,I really wonder if there will ever be a phone that will make people happy. Xperia XZ1 is a very,very good phone. I had it and used it for almost a year, not a one time it let me down. Very powerfull and good phone. Even if there are some small, and I mean small issues, they are absolutely should not affect overall opinion. I have been a user of Xperia series for years and I will not be interested in any other phone. I have owned and used samsungs,HTC,Motorolas and few others and even if they do top sony xperia in some performances, I will say again overall they all suck

LG G6 is much much better than XZ1.
