It has been reported next Sony flagship will appear MWC 2018. You might aswell buy the Xperia XZ1 since it's the last Sony flagship phone to sport bezels.

Man everything is made in china e... moreyea dude. your opinions means nothing. do you have sony xz1 on your hand right now? you just comparing phones from specs. seriously if you want make comparison, get a hand with the phone itself and then compare to your phone. phone is not just hardware, otherwise you don't need all these phone companies. just go to the chip manufacturers and buy the parts and assembled yourself,install the os,install the apps,done.just like windows pc. but it's not working like that isn't it?
comparing from the paper,the specs doesn't means anything in real life. just because everything made in china doesn't mean it have same quality
speaking of note 7.yea it blow up because of the battery.do you know who are the suppliers for samsung note 7's batteries? china companies

Man everything is made in china even Apple is made in china probbably Sony as well.
You know for example how much cost the new Iphone X? In europe its 1300 eur.
And now try to guess how much it could cost if this phone will be assembled in US by US workers where weekly salary of just one worker is a lot bigger than chinese worker earn per year. Now you have a point. Sony is same. Endurance is nothing. You can leave both phones this sony and xiaomi MI6 left on table on and wait until one goes off Sony could prevail. But in average usage a person with Sony will drain battery faster.
Lenovo P2 is 2 years old phone and have endurance 4 times better than this and cost much much lest about 250 eur. About the lagg you cant compare because its 4GB ram vs 6 which have Mi6 also the processor its same and GPU is also same. Doesnt matter China or Sony. In this case MI6 outpreforms Sony because everythig is same apart from higher ram with Mi6. About quality some things you are maybe right.
But for example waterproof its just useless add-on. If a person is carefull with his phone he dont need waterproof or dust proof. And if person working on constructions for example he will buy more rugged phone than this tiny Sony. For Example Cat S60.
And last durability of phone is a discussion till forever if you have a bad luck even a best phone can break in week. Look how ended Note 7. You cant compare flagship vs Flagship with durability. I know what i am talking about. Having chinese phone for 2 years and apart from battery drain i am 100% satisfied with my phone. But as soon as they replace my battery in service centre i will be happy again with phone stability.

I would wait for XZ2, expect 101hrs endurance rating with 3250 mAh battery life, 19MP+ 41MP dual camera and I'm starting to dislike the metal unibody trend, bring back all glass body it's look so classy. Keep the Bezels :)

OMG 600 eur phone and battery ... moreMeh as usual, you are comparing Japanese vs Chinese, quality vs quantity, XZ1 has indeed smaller battery than the MI6, 2700mah vs 3350mah, while the battery endurance rating of this site actually shows that the XZ1 outperforms the MI6 in battery performance lol, 4GB ram vs 6GB, and the XZ1 won't ever lag why the lag is a certain thing for Xiaomi even with 8GB of ram, MI6 no water and dust proof no front facing speakers mediocre cameras.... Chinese brands always use high numbers to compete against the brands of quality like Sony and Apple but they always miserably fail.
If you need to change your 700$ Sony mobile every four years and you need to change your 500$ Chinese smartphone certainly every two years then which smartphone is more expensive?

Why the battery is so small. OMG 600 eur phone and battery like from 2010 or so.
WTF. This is not worth the price.
Also only 4GB ram. Most phones for 400 or less have at least 6GB ram.
This have only 4.
Even a xiaomi Mi6 is much more better and cost 400 eur.

End of the day, you will charge your phone atleast once in a day, so why ask for monstrous batteries and compare with Chinese phones!!?!?!?!
