Another Sony phone with more power but with a battery that isn't big enough. I had the XZ the battery made it unusable so after only 4 months I replaced it with the Samsung Galaxy S7.
Increasing the power but having a weak battery is utter madness, I like Sony phones but I will not go near one until the stop the stupidity with the battery

The s835 is 25% more efficient than the 821. The battery capacity is 7% less. Do the math! Sony make refined UI. This phone will be a beast!

With a 2700 mAh battery life, this phone doesn't deserve to be called a flagship Sony phone of the year, just look at the XA1 Plus a midrange which has flagship specs with 3430 mAh battery life. And the Xperia L1 which is a low range with mid range specs. What's going on with Sony, they seem to not understand the difference between low mid and high end devices. This is a gimmick trying to fool us by taking our money, stay away from Sony.

Without FM radio again. Does it cost too much for only one "FM radio function"? It is so frustrated.

Unless you're a diehard Sony fan or crave the 3D scanning technology, I don't see why you should get the XZ1 over a Nokia 8.
Both phones have very similar specs and design. The Nokia 8 has an excellent camera and great audio. The Nokia 8 is installed with Android 7.1, but because it is stock Android expect Android 8.0 (Oreo) update to arrive quickly. The Nokia 8 should be slightly cheaper too.
However, the Nokia 8 has a 3090mAh battery, the XZ1 only has a 2700mAh battery. Stamina Mode is useless if you're actively using your phone throughout the day.
Battery life is the dealbreaker for me.

This one must have the even better on software optimisation in expected. The 3D photography is nice and use the 3D effects with AR and it is leading ahead in 3D effects achievement. The seller can use this 3D effects to show their products in 3D modelling.

It's still okay cause it only uses FHD screen but it could be better like more 3000 and above. That's what makes Sony never step ahead.
