Hi. I use it since 3 years and I want to replace my micro SD card with 128gb with a bigger one. Can it read 512 GB cards? Because on the Sony Website it tells me a maximum of only 256 GB.

Bought it 3 years ago and still working 100% as at the first day. The battery has lost approximately 1/3 of its performance but still lasts for 1 whole day! Most important feature though....lost it in a river (depth 2.5-3 meters) for half an hour, found it, let it dry for couple of days, turned it on and everything (except the cameras which needed more days) perfectly! After XZ1, another Sony will be its replacement!!

Sony shud make a remake of this phone, same size but with less bezel, higher battery capacity, higher internal storage, and chipset sd730 is good enough for me. And of course the price = xiaomi phone, so it can compete.

Hey still got mines working better then this 2021 phones real flagship phone run my games hight settings no lag 4k Camara OMG!!! 2017 REALLY JAJAJA THIS PHONE IS A BEAST

My third Sony Compact (Dropped a Z1C and broke a Z5C following iFixit's battery replacement instructions). For me this is the sweet spot hiding under the radar - all the good things of the earlier compacts with USB-C, 3.5mm jack and plenty of RAM. This phone was only available for 6 months before being replaced by the XZ2C and I only discovered it by accident. I'm thinking of buying a second one to put in the cupboard! Sony - these compact phones give you a unique niche among all the generic glass slabs. Don't ignore your user base!

I feel exactly the same about this thing as Dex or whatever it was (I'm really sorry, I have swiss cheese memory). I've had this little trooper since 2017 and after four years of loyal service and me literally constantly dropping it, getting water on it, etc. the charging port has finally given up and it's time for him to go (they won't fix it for me since apparently the screen will likely break if they open it up). If possible, I will order the exact same model again. It has never given me any problems, really the only thing that's missing from this phone is the notepad. He is the chosen one.

Also, this phone has a full extruded aluminum body shell and machined aluminum end caps, not plastic.

Still works so well I don't want to upgrade in June 2021. Browsing and apps work so fast it's the first time I've had a phone not feel slow and old after 4 years. It's also never broken and has no cracks or scratches despite 4 years of daily front pocket carry (in a flip case but no screen protector). It's also been underwater a bunch of times and no problems. The battery life on this phone is incredible, when it was new it would go 3 days on a charge, now it's still easily 2 days and I never used the battery health app, I always fast charge it.

Still the best phone on the planet. No competitors at all. june 21.
