But mainly it's because it moved from a 28nm to a 10nm chip which is vastly more efficient.
Screen brightness for z5c was done at 50% brightness which was 106 nits, versus 200 nits standard after they changed the test methodology.
Z3c was likely also at a lower brightness than 200 nits, meaning this is a notable improvement over that aswell.

Lukeluke, 23 Sep 2017If I am not able to type, what is the function for this phone?could it made phone call? text messaging? other features and apps straight from sony are working? you need to differentiate the problems of the third party apps, the os, and the phone itself. if only certain apps could not work properly especially if the apps not being made by sony or google, maybe just maybe that's the apps developer issues or even the os

I bought this phone in 2017-9-21, I guess the first launch date in HK. Does anyone know most of the android apps have not been updated to support android 8.0 oreo? The problem I am having is whatever the touchscreen sensitivity, Line, Wechat and Whatsapp that will jump out to the main screen when I was typing for 2-3 seconds.
I replaced the new phone already but the problem still exists...

I suggest to those who don't like it, just don't buy. I could buy this, because they aren't cosmetic on their changes, they really want to improve the quality of all the phone, then the beauty is the next step. They are focused on quality and professional features. They are made by professionals, for professionals. They aren't built to be fashion, but powerful, highly useful and durable. I'm a fan, and not by accident.
