They could have gotten great market share here for premium Compact phones here. Instead our choices for sub-5" phones are only the non-plus sized iPhones and other crappy Android phones.

100% . how someone can use frameless screen vertically for games and as camera bezeles are good and needed , maybee shorten them on the top and bottom to include the newer ratio screen I think 18:20 instead the current 9:16 .

Apple pretty much cornered the small phones market. If only they released the X Compact and XZ1 Compact here in the Philippines (and other Asian Countries), they probably would be more popular.

XZ1 Compact won't be officially available in the Philippines. So disappointed in Sony, not everyone here wants phones bigger than their hands. Might as well just buy an iPhone 7s.

No. Had an Xperia z3 compact and that 720p screen is just not good enough nowadays even for the smaller display size the lack of sharpness is noticeable.
