    sony only put quantity, not quality. Don't they dare to up the battery 4100 mAh, no one sony phone has more than 3500 mAh battery which is standard for android phone nowadays

        The price of the phone will be sky high if the specs are true if not price will always be high...its sony when its new its high price but it will cut the price after few months... comon people are you new in this world?...what phone are you using 3210 or 5110? Jezz people...

              Display 720p => 1080p

                If Sony launched this phone, they are really weird. Because if they announce this phone, it is weird to see Xperia X Compact the only Sony compact phone to have a mid range chip instead of having the same chip as the bigger version

                  Ugh, sure. Sony seems to be the only ones actually willing to put good hardware into a small phone and run Android on it. So sure, I can overlook that it'll be the fourth time I buy a phone that looks exactly the same. I just hope they don't sacrifice the IP68 again, X Compact was inferior to Z5 Compact because of that.

                        AnonD-648252, 06 Mar 2017no gorilla glass 5?It's just a rumor, so the specs are pretty much invented. Until thet actually release the phone, don't believe what the specs are. I just hope it will have a Snapdragon inside, not a lousy MediaTek..

                          Dream specs and waste of space if the render is close to the real device. Unfortunately price will be more than 600 Euro, which is absolutely far away of my upper budget barrier.
                          The only hope I have is for Xiaomi with such specs since there are rummors for an year about small dimension flagship, but recently I saw a poll on en.miui.com where people are voting for 6 inch devices.

                            If the frame are metal like z1c then this is the best Sony compact device ever made. Review ASAP GSMA. waiting for final release and review.

                                [deleted post]I am excited about this new compact. But I an wondering when sony with spice up their design. As far as bezels, they should reduce it enough for the screen size to bump to 4.8
                                But not too much because I don't want those stereo speakers to go away. And if they can fit the new camera, even better. I just hope the battery doesn't get drained fast regardless of the chipset, because I wanna be able to have fun with the camera and stuff and still have enough juice till I get home at the end of the day.

                                  Shrink the bezels so that they're less than the X compact, give it an all metal waterproof body, these specs and some cool colors. I'd buy it.

                                    I think the Sony can using 4.7 inch fhd.Because 4.6 inch hd is outdated.

                                      Will come out...:-D Lucky i didn't buy the x compact knowing the xz will someday appear...

                                        I doubt the phone will have the snapdragon 835. If Sony has been doing away with the Sony Xperia x compact, the most they can do is the snapdragon 820 from the XZs
