Currently my XZ2 is OK so far, fast, battery about 1 day, 2 days maximum depending on how you use it, no gaming, just video calls mostly, some Facebook, emails and calls.
Compared with a P30 Pro, which I also owned, the battery is a little weak. On the Huawei you can get 2 days, one day with heavy use and still get some juice left.
When I got the phone it was 2 times less than the P30 Pro, so you can't really compare it, but I got the phone since it was well priced.
P30 Pro is a killer phone, but too damn expensive, I won't pay more that 700 Euros for a phone, it's just not worth it.

The op7 should be better in ( almost? ) every aspect, including the camera. And sony phones also have a lot of harware issues like the touch screen failing withing a few months, and a useless warranty for important issues like this.

Hello
Xperia xz2 doesnt reach 1.2gbps with 5cc in different bands.
Only two bands combination is working well.
Do you have any idea why?

Question: Has some user any thoughts on XZ2 when it comes to sturdiness? I got two toddlers at home and they like to toss these phonez around quite a bit, as children do. I cant have a case, its really not for me. I've considered xz2c, but textning will probably be a concern with my big clumsy hands.
According to gsmarena the xz3 is "sturdy in its design". What do you guys think of the xz2? I'm a little concerned due to glass back... Thanks!

I noticed DXO has point out few issues with the phone. There is a way to improve the quality with the following setting. For daytime photo, change to manual mode and 12mp, turn off HDR, change ISO to 50, keep adjusting the the shutter speed till you get the sharpest image. This setting will reduce the noise significantly. This phone has a really wide dynamic range, you will need to keep changing the focus point until you get a good balance of the exposure. For distortion, you can reduce it by zoom in 1.4 times. As this phone has a very wide FOV than other phones, you can sacrifice FOV a bit and this will reduce the distortion issue and will also resolve the softness in the corners. Also I have noticed the image is sharper after I zoom in, sony must have apply some kind algorithm to sharpening the image. For noisy edges and any color issue, this can be easily fixed via photo shop. I have to say this phone and XZ2 has the most natural colour when compare to other phones and it is the sharpest phone on the market right now the colour reproduction is almost the same as my Alpha 6000.

The small/heavy thing took me a while to get used to, but it's grown on me, I'm all in now. Really good phone, feels like it will last but time will tell. Shame Sony buried it almost straight away, but it is the best value 2018 flagship as a result because it's really cheap second hand.
Anybody else finding they are getting a lot of screen off battery drain? Also I wish that stupid haptic vibration gimmick wasn't there because I bet it adds to the weight.
