I love the design better than samsung's design
im currently running the xz and love it and i will be upgrading to the new xz2 when it arrives to nz

Sony need to.change their design maker staff because they can not make beautiful designs sony,s had made best design ever was z1 and z1 compact try to improve that design and make even make another smaller then compact thanks

SONY must change their design team this was realy a disappointment. I miss the xperia arc days when SONY does an awesome job in designing their phones. Well I guess i have to pass this year on SONY.

Fat phone, larger bottom bezel, not even a 2k screen.
No thanks, I'll keep my thin XZ Premium, since this looks like a chinese phone.

If it were done in 2016, Sony would get 10x more criticism than now. And the second reason is, Sony has so much wireless headphones to chose from. They introduced like 4 today, so that's a step in the right direction definitely!

Well i like this design but i really miss the headphone jack well pretty soon no one would be offering headphone jack samsung has a useless headphone jack and lg has a great headphone jack rest of them have removed it op bb samsung lg remain

Thank God I had everything saved on my SD). I don't see the downside. And yes, not all people hate this phone, it is NOT a bad phone. Just because you hate it, doesn't mean everyone else has to. I'm just here to tell everyone to calm their ti*s and just appreciate a new phone. Let other people draw their own conclusion. Same thing with the iPhone every year, everyone hates it. People are going to draw negative thoughts because of people who are complaining, so calm down, and just forget about the phone, have fun with your Google Pixel or w/e you have. You want a redesign, here you go, you want better specs, here you go, you want a better camera, here you go, you want a bigger battery, here you go, you want wireless charging, here you go, it has everything the S9 has, so why are people complaining?

Owner of xz1 and fan of Sony design from 2013.
I really don't like the new design I have to see it and touch it first, but I know that glossy materials are ugly and not minimal (maybe for eastern countries are nice but for Europe aren't) . The finger print of xz1 is perfect because you can unlock it without lift it up and consider that I am left handed. Finally the back of xz2 looks like a belly of a man and I think that its ugly but it may be more friendly to the hand.... But it sucks!

My expectation kinda misses. Comparing this with Pixel 2 XL... no, just no. Screen to body ratio is roughly the same, but XL is lighter, slimmer, has bigger battery and more pixels in the front camera. I'll be sticking with my Xperia X till the next iteration I guess.

Second, if I don't do things like rooting my phone or installing custom roms. Why should my phone get corrupted? Third, You know that you cannot modify or delete any contents from the SD card?
"if you really hate the phone, DON'T BUY IT" And like what? Leave it alone so that a victim may buy this crap?
