I agree, but cut them some slack bro, if you're a mad, buy a Samsung, nobody's asking for you to get triggered here. I don't like the iPhone X and I don't bash it. S9 also has 4GB RAM and I don't see anyone complaining about that. Plus, if you want more storage, increase it by microSD, cheaper than having to spend $150 for more storage

The phone looks nice. Aside from that, can't understand why the phone is so thick and heavy at 200gm!!, for instance GS9+ is 189gm with larger screen and battery while LGs V30s Thinq is only 158gm!

I wanted to buy a Sony this summer. But this new design made me change my mind. It looks like a mid range samsung. I cant believe im saying this but... I prefer the design of the S8 over this crap.

How about removing the sony logo from the front of the unit and place it on the back so that there would be an increase in screen to body ratio? So instead of 5.7. When the logo is removed. You get 5.9.
4. Android eats a lot of ram. Especially when you are multitasking. So having a 6 to 8 gigs of ram is better. And with that. You could increase the internal storage of the unit

Xperia Z2 from 2014 looks way better than this midrange lookalike XZ2. I bet it'll cost $799 when Z2 only cost $550 at launch. With poor quality R&D they want to maximize profit, in order to blind us buying something that doesn't visually look good as Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+

fell in love with this design.. but tipping the headphone jack is a bit disappointing.. please introduce the same design for the rest of xperia family.. and I will buy the one with the jack :p :p

Unfortunately Sony disappoint me I been waiting for this flag ship to be my next phone.
-Why the thickness is too big 11mm!!
-the bazel not as we expected even if the speaker in front
-Sony they didn't bring new modern design
-Finally I don't now Sony why didn't change camera aperture yet

Oh shut up y'all. First you complain that the design needs to change, now you complain that it's changed? I think the phone is superb,moving to the wireless future, full redesign, new camera capabilities, better performance and battery etc. I just wish the fingerprint sensor was a bit higher, that's all.
1. Thinner bezels. Bezels are thicker than other 'bezel-less' phones because of front facing speakers.
2. You get your beloved 2:1 aspect ratio (18:9 if you wish to refer to it as that)
3. No headphone jack? C'mon, it's not 2016 to complain about that. Sony includes an adapter which can charge your phone AND listen to music over a wired connection at the same time.
4. Why exactly do we need 6/8 GB RAM? Nobody's faced problems with 4.
5. You get Super Slo-Mo (you know, the thing Samsung literally ripped off) at 1080p? 960 images in 1 second in 1080p? That's not impressive at all?
6. 4K HDR recording. (Still wish it had 4K60 tho)
7. 3200 mAh battery, bigger than your beloved S9 lmao.
8. Snapdragon 845
9. Wireless charging (Qi)
10. All new vibration motor (kinda like the taptic engine on iPhones which are epic)
11. Fingerprint sensor? (Well I have to be honest, I wish it was on the side, but oh well, if not on the side, just a bit higher)

The Back Camera is too low
The Scanner is too low
Still has big bezels (compared to competition)
Still are thick af
It's like Sony is a stubborn child who refuses to better themselves despite all the competition around.

ABSOLUTE BULLSHIT! Sony, you have disappointed me once again. I have been a Sony Xperia fan since the Z3 but now I have lost interest in Sony phones altogether and I will no longer get excited about upcoming Xperia phones because they always end up being a complete flop.
The people who create these Sony Phones really need to be sacked for being so retarded and way behind in the mobile phone game. I am struggling to comprehend why Sony hasn't followed suit and gone with the popular, attractrive bezzleless designs instead of having its big ugly bezzles.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS RUBBISH PHONE, BUY SAMSUNG GALAXY S9+.
