XZ2 and XZ2 Compact is a very very very Boring design in front i hated sony
Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ is awesome good looking preety mobiles i like it

If XZ2 had same bezels as it's predecessor, then they would have retained the headphone jack and 13 MP front facing camera.

Xz1 had a headphone jack but no dac this one has no jack but a dac

Sony hates OIS because it costs $. Sony want to make their flagships as cheap as possible to get more profits.

I would like to say its a good job from sony, finally. Its a step forward. Trendy 18:9 screen, metal frame there is antenna stripes, and wireless charging. And now they worked with qualcomm for camera software.
This makes it just like other phones, but its better than stick with old design. And this doesnt mean it can compete with S9. So, if it will be good if its priced 150$ less than S9.

To XZ2's designer..! bravo Bravo BRAVO.. Miss or Mr designer 11.1mm & no OIS no damn 3.5mm Jack. H FPS on back panel! I'm sure that surprise it is: 11.1mm of thickness and.. You know

I hope this is one of those models which SONY releases to stay in competition till their main product is released in few months. If not then SONY screwed up completely. They don't know what they are doing.
There were leaks of XPERIA XZ2 PRO so I hope this is a fill-up for time being.

Really disappointed with the design, back looks ugly as hell, still no ois, only 424 ppi and to make it worse no headphone jack. C'mon Sony you could have done much better than this.

is this a flagship ... really its jocking by sony... this is 2018 era...check the ppi only 424 and no ois..front camera just 5 mp with 2.2 apperture...not really impressed..

Like Sony's phone because their distinct look and their UI is better than Samsung's, but this time around from pictures, not sure now.

Where does that put the new design because if a design which was used for past say 5yrs there are 50 different models which had same design in past and it became boring. Now the new design there are hundreds of models from different brands with same looks for past 2-3yrs so isn't it boring. Lets say both are boring designs but the old XPERIA design was unique and different from others new one is boring and not unique.

11.1 mm, no 3.5 mm, no ois, f2.0 cam, just 3180 mah (that's very bad for 11 mm), and very bad positioned fingerprint scanner (middle of back cover).
just a new garbage from sony.
