I dont understand people who keep whining about missing audio jack. Use bluetooth or whaterver. I actually LIKE that this phone dont have audio jack.

Nice phone, really like the size, you actually do not have to have bigfoot hands to use it by one hand, also, you can keep it in your pants pocket. Really good phone, but only one reason I woudl rather buy XZ1 Compact instead of this newer phone.. "endurance rating". Battery not good, seriously.

2018, the year the Xperia Compact became a plus phone :(
This isn't a bad phone per say, but it stands as an example of Sony dropping the ball and completely missing the target audience, I trialed one of these as a potential replacement to my Z3c and thought against it, yes it has more MHz and RAM but that in no way makes up for losing the wireless charging, nevermind being too damn bulky to use comfortably with one regular sized hand. Bad form Sony, much disappoint.

A phone is meant to be held in one hand. Full stop. Kudos to Sony for keeping this form factor. I'm %100 certain that they will eventually win people.
One thing that keeps this phone from perfection is lack of Qi wireless charging. Let's face it, Type C connectors are dodgy, and wear out quickly. Wireless is essential for these phones. Please Sony, hear our pleas.

Sony XZ2 COMPACT is the BEST phone in this planet full stop . compared to the IPHONE 8 : 3.4 millimeter shorter 2.3mm less wider ( excellent one hand handling ) a bit heavy 20 grams only and thicker which is perfect to hold battery 2870 mHa vs 1821 mHa which is 1049mHa more juice . screen bigger 5" vs 4.7" much higher resolution 483 ppi vs 326 ppi . excellent camera for 4k video and stills . But all my girls in my family using I-phones 8 and 7 and crying like babies year after year and after years the I-phones loosing battery at 12 at noon . What else can I say spending 10th of thousands on the stu...ied Iphones
