hamidrezasadeghi, 22 Apr 2018good phone but ominibalance betterI heard people complain the flat phone is not ergonomic example like S8 S9 furthermore the glass is more slippery on flat glass back cover like S8 S9. So the Ambient Flow is a solution to fit the phone nicely in palm.

xXENDER FREAKXx, 22 Apr 2018Yep, OmmiBalance + Loop Surface should come back. I'm glad ... moreLol Sony admitting that their old design was better and moving back to it for the XZ3 would look unprofessional. What they should do is fix the new design. Make it more compact, thinner and fix the FP scanner location. Also, make the curves for the back panel more subtle so that the phone doesn't wobble on a flat surface.
Omnibalance wasn't perfect when they first introduced it with the Xperia Z. It took a few iterations for the design to reach it's pinnacle with the Z3+ and Z5. I'm guessing the same will happen to their current "ambient flow" design.

Lex79, 21 Apr 2018Breathtakingly silly design if you ask me, there is a phone... moreYep, OmmiBalance + Loop Surface should come back. I'm glad this is not the Mirai design they are talking about, and I'm glad that I didn't think that it was their Mirai design too. They should have looked back to their OmmiBalance + Loop Surface design, and consider bringing it back by trim down the bezels to 2018 standards, rounding up the sides like XPERIA X, probably patent a under-display fingerprint sensor (Maybe consider retry patenting on their side mounted fingerprint sensor they did last time as their 2nd fingerprint sensor for the smartphone) so u wouldn't need to place that fingerprint sensor at the back which makes Sony no different from other brands now, moving the cameras back to where it always have been, wrapping the back and the sides with either ALKALEIDO (Which still considered aluminium even if it have some chemicals added to it to make it shine more), or the normal metal and glass sandwich combo, this can probably be qualified to be called Mirai, even if the design is used for yeaes already

And the placement of that fingerprint scanner, seriously Sony? I thought Samsung had found the worst placement for such a feature with the S8/Note 8 series but Sony seems to want to give them a run for their money on that score.
Come back loop surface design...all is forgiven

AnonD-709656, 21 Apr 2018Why do you think that? LG offer updates as slow as Samsung.... moreWhy not LG? For a start, LG's QC is pathetic. Bootlooping, cracking lens, poor display quality (V30 and Pixel 2XL, both use the same crappy LG POLED panel). And the camera hardware is also not flagship level. Wide f/1.6 lens sounds good and all, but the actual sensor is tiny. Tiny 1µm pixels, and as a result the low light performance is not good. People may think because of the wide f/1.6 lens the low light performance will be superior, but that's clearly not the case. Selfie camera, you already know how bad it is. And Samsung's UI is way more better than LG's crappy Apple wannabe UI. S8 and even the OP5T is a better choice than the v30.

Prometheous, 17 Apr 2018Not the V30. Anything but that garbage V30. On paper that p... moreWhy do you think that? LG offer updates as slow as Samsung. People are okay with Samsung so should be okay with LG too in that section. LG did have some display issues but even Pixel 2 XL had it and people were fine with it. LG V30 has one of the best DACs in a smartphone. LG V30 has a wide angle camera, people could catch really great scenery with it. It's power button is in the back, usable as fingerprint scanner and home button which maybe controversial but many didn't have a problem with it. It has a headphone jack which most of the manufacturers are forgetting including Xiaomi, Apple, Huawei, etc. The only main problem is it's selfie camera is not great. You could use a launcher for it's crappy software too. What makes you think V30 is shit?

VED0902 , 19 Apr 2018I have the XZ Premium Luminous Chrome and I f*king love it ... moreNeh, my advice to u is, don't upgrade it yet. I am going to buy this one after it is released, see how well it holds up to my previous high-end flagships, especially against XPERIA XZ2. The disappointing thing about this new addition to their "PREMIUM" lineup is not the bezels for me though, but the design is disappointing. For real, their old OmmiBalance + Loop Surface design no doubt looks way better than their current OmmiBalance + Ambient Flow design, even if it looks more blocky. Their new smartphones have their cameras positioned in a very weird manner; at the place where your index finger will usually rest at. This is definitely not their "Mirai" design, if it is "Mirai" design it might as well continue their old design but with refinements like reducing the bezels, rounding the sides, make it more like a unibody with ALKALEIDO (which is just aluminium with some things to make it shine more) wrapped around the whole body, and leaving the camera at the place they always place; the top left. Anyways, if u were to decide on upgrading to your next daily driver, u might as well wait for IFA, I expect the new design language to be announced at that event, and it will probably be better than this one, except for the display resolution

MSambath, 19 Apr 2018760ppi??Is it surprising or you dont know how this figure came out. If you know the theory of Pythagora, this how it goes:
(3840^2 + 2160^2)^0.5/5.8in= 760pixel/in
Clear???????

AnonD-729368, 19 Apr 2018why is the biiiiiiggeeest bezzels again.wtf. enough,.Dude your so right. For the only thing I don't like the phone. And that is the bazzles. And the phone is too big. Also it has just 64GB Rom. It would be perfect if it had 128GB or 256GB of Rom. I was expecting something good. But it is too bad.;-(;-(;-(
