still they cant get rid of thick top and bottom bezels. They look so ugly!! Chinese manufacturers realised this and they are trying to get rid of them in their future phones. Vivo v9 nex,oppo F7 oppo X..etc. The writing is on the wall Bezel has no place on smartphones' front side. But Sony? They suffer from bloated egos.They will never change even if they have to drift towards HTC's way out of the competition and proven losers in smartphone business. I dream of a bezel less Sony flagship phone...6.3 inch display and rest specs as in XZ3.

The phone is made for Sony's fanbase, their skin is extremely close to stock Android, they're redoing it to include gestures, their LCD are some of the best, and battery optimization allowed for the XZ2 Compact to match the P20 Pro. Note that the former has 2870 and the P20 Pro had 4000 and is raved about four is battery life.

The design looks like it was made for primary school kids, I'm guessing the software will have an iOS friendly interface similar to Google pixel launcher. By judging the battery, it won't be enough and LCD's aren't optimized for battery efficiency. Sony is going back to 2007 and start to copy Apple from scratch.
