Afaik Mediatek still uses off the shelf Cortex A73 cores on their SoCs, Qualcomm and Samsung don't.

When I compared my Z3 with an S6 the Z3 was better on gaming, response on apps etc; even though the Z3 has an older processor. So all these 'reviews' and benchmarks are all about marketing and who pays better the presenter. I'm not interested in laboratory performance but real-life performance. So i expect the same from the XZPremium.

And the last time i replacing my iPhone 6 for xperia z5p. In term of processor they really almost got no difference. But beside that (Screen, camera, sound, battery) i think sony is better as twice as iPhone.

FHD screen would of been fine. The Battery seems so small especially if its going to power up so many damn pixels

Amazing phone and once again Sony finds a way to make great phones with a flaw to annoy me. Has anyone ever heard of a smart in today's market with a 5.46 screen? Really? Why couldn't they be a 5.7 or a 5.5? why they had to knock it down to a 5.46?
Of course, people will ask who can tell the difference? I can...!!!!!!! I am sure others in the tech world can too. There is a huge difference between 5.5 and 5.46. The PPI is great but its that one annoyance built into the device that makes you look else where.

Its the same thing with the Sony XA1 Ultra. Great phone, but when you look at the battery capacity you just go......blah.

                                    Anonymous, 26 Apr 2017http://www.sony.com/electronics/play-music-library-near-hi-... moreSomething's like this:

The fact that the A-S801 has a solid amp section isn't the end of the story. Yamaha included a digital section employing an ESS Technology 32-bit ES9010K2M Sabre DAC capable of supporting native DSD resolutions (2.8 MHz / 5.6 MHz) and PCM (384 kHz / 32-bit) via a USB-B as well as coax and toslink digital inputs. Yamaha took it one step further by employing its own clocking scheme to reduce jitter. Analog purists will be happy to hear that the A-S801 includes a MM phono section for vinyl playback.

                                    In Use
Setting up the A-S801 is an exercise in simplicity I often cringe these days at the prospect of being drowned by the complexity of AV receivers. There is something to the ‘less is more’ approach in this case. Give me a meaty amp, great DAC and two high quality speakers (a sub is a bonus) and I can easily reach sonic nirvana much more easily and quickly than with all but the really good multi-channel playback systems. After connecting the speakers and my sub, I then made the USB connection between the A-S801 and my desktop PC. Installing the Yamaha Steinberg USB driver was a piece of cake.

I do not have at the moment mp3/FLAC audio files and all my audio files are wav! 16-bit 44.1kHz, reason: wider sound stage in wav audio files! Special thanks to IBM and Microsoft also Special thanks to DJ basilisk and ektoplazm.com

In the end: I think 32-bit 384kHz in GS8/8+ isn't a Gimmick option and it (GS8) has need to powerful Intermediate

                                    Thanks in advance

                                      Magnificent results it gives.
Coupled with Automatic headphone adaptivity and inbuilt noise cancellation, it gives out amazing almost "hi res" sound quality, even through cheapest Sony headphones that I got with Performance.
                                      Superb stuff really.

While lossy music files (like MP3s) are great for saving space on your device, they are missing vital information from the song's original recording file. On the other hand, High-Resolution Audio file formats (such as FLAC and WAV) are created with lossless compression that allows the original data from a recording to be reconstructed almost perfectly by a class of algorithms. DSEE HX™ Technology lies somewhere in between. Here's how:

Sony DSEE HX™ software upscales your existing sound source (those lossy MP3s or AACs) to near high-resolution sound quality. This means that the technology injects more life into your music by upscaling compressed files. So it restores the subtleties of the original song recording and simulates the sound of live performance.

Can the competitions do this? NO! You can't find them do this, because SONY is from Music Boy.
