Sony shutdown/reduce there business in some region including middle east. But u will get the updates. One day before i got an another update (security update) update from sony. So sony is so strong in there softwares updates. But one thing there is only slight change in pie.

I don't know why Sony (Android) doesn't respect Middle East customer. Till now no available android pie in Kuwait as example. This strategy since many years past!!!!!

just make sure to choose one, that has the language u need if its not the english one

for those who complain about stutter, or bugs, try to factory reset your phone. I reset my phone after noticing some stutter and bugs and after that it was all good. phone is functioning well

I updated my XZ Premium to Pie (47.2.A.0.306) last week and while generally OK, there seems to be some powe issues when the phone has been idle for some time, like overnight, and in the morning I have now found it twice with a totally emty battery and turned off. And with the evening battery on a level that before would have carried me well through the next day.
Symptoms also include, for instance, not being able to turn on WiFi and sometimes the Settings menu (where you can manage wifi) remaining blank. All after some hours of inactivity. Possibly some power-conservation routine has kicked in and "waking up" is problematic.
I am an ordinary user, no expert, so no in-depth analysis, just obervations :)

For the first time after a full year and latest upgrade, my phone freezed. Wonder if it's the software upgrade or what🤔? But it didn't give me much hassle to reboot it. Love my handset.
