NFC chip netherlands, Bosch is german, made chip, almost all the rest are USA Sillicon Valley made, Gorilla glass american, motherboard Sonys, screen sonys, battery sonys, camera sonys, metal japanese, frame japanese, ram and rom korean Hynix (they dont trust samsung for quality components anymore)
All assembled in thailand based Sonys facility....
No wonder they are keeping the price high...but honestly, from the components insight, it seems at least justified.

Also what stuff is made in netherlands, germany? Id trust companes from those two places over korean tbh. i think Sony should use UFS made by toshiba instead of south korean brands lol.

Killer phone of the 2017 even batter then upcoming Samsung galaxy s8 it feel like marval piece in your hand and it also take over iPhone 7,first time Sony did something in its phone history but Sony must work on phone bezzles.

Not a single made Sony part in your links. Sony battery's are now made by Murata in China. (Chinese company) and temporarily using Sony name until full transfer of ownership is completed.
Sony new plant in Thailand is an assembly plant only. No parts manufacturing.

All non Sony(japanese) components american, dutch, netherlands, german, korean ( not Samsung)...
Only part made in china is Sonys own battery .

[deleted post]Wrong. XZ Premium won best NEW smartphone of 2017. Out of 3 phones, LG6 and Oppo. None of the big names were there. No iPhone, no Samsung, no Hauwai, no Moto etc etc. And S7 won Best Smartphone for all of 2016.

Samsung acted swiftly with the problem and has been quite public about it. Unlike Sony that has only tried to conseal the problems
Sony sold off its battery division to a Chinese company in 2016 and the transfer is still happening today.

Outcome: I'm sure differences in dimensions and weights between XZp ft Z5p is a Few and improvements R a Lot {of course according to Z5p}
