The higher PPI the higher energy needed. Why not do some search sir. you can find it... Well, i think Sony have solution there, i think they have setting in their phone that can change Resolution and Density. like the other phone. from 4k display to 720p display for energy saver.

I am working for a company which se... moreYou mean in developing markets, where people care mostly about specs, and not quality. OnePlus doesn't exist in most markets. Same can be said about other Chinese brands like Xiaomi, Meizu, etc.
Also look at the "units sold per manufacturer" charts, and then talk.

Goodluck Battery, with that 3,000 mah, its not enough in 800 ppi display, it will drain Fast with that High Resolution display. hope atleast make battery Bigger

I am working for a company which sells mobile phones and accessory and i have to tell you more people buy Chinese phones than branded. Price always ,matters than a brand. And even people who like best pick Chinese for its price than Samsung or Sony or Apple and so.
If we talk just about the brand more known companies are better with their top devices but people are likely interested in price so for a flagship a cheaper Chinese phone with awesome stats will always prevail. So thats why Chinese phones are more like to sell than any other.

Like how the OP3 with 6GB of RAM was slower than the S7 which had 4GB RAM. And also the display, camera, build quality, etc. So your OnePlus phones can't replace a Galaxy or Xperia or any other flagship.
And yeah, there are lots of Chinese "flagship killers" which have turned out to be failures (OP2 for example). Nobody talks about it because those phones aren't well known.
