Battery on a 4K HDR display shouldn't be a problem. Remember that the phone renders the screen at 1080p most of the time on normal use, just like Z5 Premium. the 4K HDR only kicks in when a 4K HDR content is being played / recorded. Even in my Z5, whenever I took a picture it will always look blurry for a few seconds and when the 4K display kicks in, the image suddenly becomes clear.
Plus you have Doze integrated and Stamina mode (which I always have it turned on all the time on my Z5 Premium)

I've had my Z5 Premium for nearly 18 months now and I absolutely love it. Amazing phone in every way. I was actually considering not upgrading this year because it's so good, until I saw the Xz Premium.......... WOW!

Gorgeous and powerful.. I love Xperia by Sony, always smooth, durable and amazing build quality. XZP, is the best for me.. I can't wait to buy this..

I mean Samsung can give you a business premium looking phones either.. and the touch wiz UI may be boring a little bit but the good thing in it that it Can be so advanced (according to device) while looking so simple this makes it Possible to use by everyone "work, or other things, it can be serious it can be fun" you decide, and that's one of their success reasons, and the same thing going with ios UI either.. While sony is limiting their Customers type.. But in the other hand I agree with you, HTC and LG may be the companies with the playful designs

Expectations never come true with Sony still end up with nothing special,
we already have Z5 Premium With 5.5" Screen and 4K Display what so special With XZ Premium, Still 5.5" No OIS and No Bigger battery still 3230mAh in fact Z5 Premium is more 3430mAh battery, using 4K Display smartphone needs more battery i expect this time Sony give at least 3600mAh battery but still disappoint, nothing special
carrying in pocket Z5 Premium with Weight 180g is not much comforts and now Sony surprise with Weight 195g XZ Premium Oh please....
