I have almost the full memory on mine and it is brilliant playing games and everything just amazing.
I have played game jus for the test I started at 10 and finished at 14 and I could not believe my eyes the battery at the beginning was 88% and at the ending of the process there was 66% instead of note 8 my brother has note 8 and the battery life is poor very poor.
buy sony and enjoy the best device

I really love this phone. It is very fast, dependable and comfortable to hold (despite its size).
The chrome version looks so premium! I bet the black version looks just as amazing.

So,I am going to buy this Sony Xperia XZ... moreCompared to my old Z3 and a lot of proven reviews and claims on some Z5 units (even the Premium ones) which overheats on heavy loads, processing, shooting 4K videos or snapping a lot of pics with the official camera app (not Google's Camera2 API though... strange) in spite of the revolutionary thermal heatpipes used - I'm at ease and surprisingly amazed that under a lot of stress given to the phone it barely gets warm... no matter what you throw at it. Must be some hardware engeneering thing on the throttling, the better SOC, the glass, the graphite plate or whatever... still amazes me!

Oh yeah every premium and expensive phone destroyed cracked damaged, only midrange and China phones can survive in many drop test, this is a "good" quality on promoting, "bad" to know that!

Daw, 01 Jul 2018Nah 256mb I'm not that too brave though hahaha Well, I like that xzp's 4k display only activates when watching videos and playing games. Yes I agree, I think xzp is still slightly on par with xz2 when it comes to performance considering xz2 has an upgraded chipset. XZ2 is an amazing phone, but there's a reason xzp is called premium. Kinda excited to try and see the actual xz2 premium.

I've never had any problems and reading above about glitchy phones surprises me somewhat. I had a Z5 Compact before this and a Z3 before that, fantastic bits of kit but I won't be getting an XZ2 as the specs are lower than the XZ Premium apart from the cpu

I wouldn't, apart from a slight increase in cpu speed, the XZ Premium is a far better phone than the XZ2. Strange!

So many software glitches a couple of time the camera did work, or the phone would not ring and some apps failed to work e.g. recorder and many other issues (which I must confess are easily resolved by rebooting). But overall too many small glitches that are annoying and severely undermine the user confidence in the product and their user experience.
Other BIG ISSUES are the worst camera phone (compared to rivals) with the worst by far picture in low light conditions. The speaker is also the terrible, very low volume and poor sound quality
Very disappointed with a company like Sony. You expect tier cameras and speaker to be the best since they have a big presence in the camera and speaker market. Also, the operating system (functionality) is not as intuitive as Samsung and with a lot let functionality too.
I had a cheap OPPO phone that was flawless and even had features that you have to pay with Sony (e.g. phone Themes) also the picture was brilliant (compare to Sony Xperia XZ Premium)
I could not recommend this phone to anyone, which is a pity because it looks cool and I had such hopes for it

I hate this phone. I got it because of remote play, which isn't enough to make me tolerate this sub par phone. So many little functionality problems and a poor battery life because they insist on making a 5 in h screen 4k, which is ridiculous. Crap phone. They should be ashamed.

Just choose which OS you are more comfortable or familiar, iOS or android. Between xzp and xz1, I just recently bought the xzp last week and experience-wise it's amazingly awesome! I opted to buy the xz1 because it's cheaper, but I found an xzp that was at a cheaper price than normal so I took it instead (since I wanted to buy xzp since its release last 2017 haha.) Now I'm loving my chrome xzp!!! I suggest you go to a sony shop and try both out to see what you like better especially they differ in size dimension. Both phones have the same capabilities and specifications, except for the 4K resolution of xzp and larger screen size. The 4K res only activates when watching vids and gaming, it is turned off in regular phone usage though. Also, xzp's both front and back are made up of glass, so clumsy users might get some mini heart attacks when mishandling the phone hahaha

It was much cheaper than the XZp, got a screen protector, back case, a Bluetooth speaker and power bank free with my phone which was a big surprise. I really don't care about the 4K display, the screen size of the XZ1 is simply perfect and the screen resolution is also great. I was also surprised by its battery life which is amazing with wifi on for the whole day it can easily last for over 24 hours, so overall I'm really happy with my XZ1.
