Sony Xperia XZ gets a $150 price cut in India

Himanshu, 15 March 2017

Sony brought its Xperia XZ flagship to India back in September last year, and it went on sale the following month. The device carried an INR 51,990 (around $795) price tag at launch. If it was the cost that kept you from purchasing the phone, you'll be glad to know that the device has received a decent price cut.

The Japanese company's official India website reveals the handset is now listed for INR 41,990 (around $642). That translates to a discount of around $150. There's currently no information on whether or not it's a permanent price cut.

Thanks for the tip, Mohit Borisagar!!!
