AnonD-481725, 20 Nov 2017This isn't supposed to be the flagship of this year neverth... moreI don't need to watch youtube camera comparisons because I have both phones and in taking pictures, S8 is clear winner. To be honest, here is not even a match between these two. Xzs pictures are so grainy and the situation gets worse in indoor shots and in low light. The pictures shot by my old galaxy S4 and note 4 are better than those taken by XZs. Sony really need to improve their cameras for real and drop gimmicks like super slomo or 3d scan sh*t. No one really use these features. The camera and heating issues are the main archilles heel of sony. The bad camera really drag down the user experience of the otherwise good XZs.

1 week owner here upgraded from z1 compact, great phone with improved faster camera than the older xperia models. Only the ringing volume not loud enough at noisy places if the phone inside your pocket but with vibrations alert so no problem. Initially want to buy the xz1 compact but xzs got cheaper price and bigger 64gb storage, bigger abit but ok to use by one hand, better than the samsung phone which fix the back button at the right hand side, no chance of reach the back button with left hand thumb.

Hello guys I'm in planned to buy a new phone. Could anyone suggest me, which one is the best, XZs or XZ1 Compact? There's any big different between both of them? I don't really like small size and 5.2 inch on XZ seems suited for me cuz I'm use ZF3 5.2inch and it does good for me, I don't care about performance and 3d camera, but I do care about main camera and updates. But if there's any big different on XZ1 Compact than XZs, I could considered that.

Good phone but ringing volume is too soft. Its the major problem area.
