Most other smartphones have their prices dropto half of their initial prices in just a few months after release. The XZ has already been phased out after just 6 months.

    Specs-wise, the S7 is future-proof upon release. 4GB RAM, QHD resolution, 3000mAh battery, UFS2.0 are currently still the flagship standard. The S8, which is the best and most advanced smartphone right now, is just a very minor improvement over the S7. Camera is virtually the same. Screen resolution/pixel density are similar. RAM is the same. Internal storage speeds are comparable. The S7 is essentially a 2017 flagship-grade smartphone. No one cares about speed tests because the 0.0001 second difference doesn't matter at all. I actually prefer delayed app loading with beautiful animations.

Because, in the end, GALAXY S7 makes no difference from them, every smartphone that is powered by SNAPDRAGON 820 still have some future-proofing. If u say XPERIA XZs is outdated, wouldn't u say LG G6 is also outdated because it is using a SNAPDRAGON 821 from last year? Can u go back to your SAMSUNG opinions page? Because what u said doesn't affect the people here, because they have their own opinions, and u don't rule this place, so please call SAMSUNG to bring another type of fanboy which is u back to their headquarters and get ready to get brainwashed by them

It has the same processing power a... moreSame goes as GALAXY S7, it is a much more outdated flagship, since it is released earlier than XPERIA XZ (plus XPERIA XZs got same same processor), and doesn't stand out from the crowd in terms of speed. Average smartphone users don't even care for what type of storage it uses, they care for the speed, is it faster, because in the end it still performs the same as XPERIA XZs and other SNAPDRAGON 820 smartphones. Future-proofing?!?! A smartphone that is future-proof is just like a smartphone with 8GB RAM this only got 4GB RAM, which is similar to last year's and this year's flagships. Look, stop defending for your godamn brand, because they won't have any future-proofing for average users since average users only care for RAM and speed you nerd

It has the same processing power a... moreS7 isn't future proof, it doesn't have iris scanner, it is not bezel-less (FullVisons), fingerprint mouted beside the main camera lens and it also miss out a S-pen and doesn't have the battery safety policy after Samsung Note 7 LOL.

It has the same processing power as the LG G6 SD821 which is more powerful than XZs' SD820. RAM is the same speed and capacity as the S8 and most other 2017 flagships. Internal storage technology is even better than some of the phones released this year like OnePlus 5. Camera is class-leading only rivaled by the iPhone 7, Pixel and S8. Battery life is still unmatched by other flagships except the S8. Software is more advanced than stock Android and every other Android OEM skins. Samsung could've released the S7 this year instead of the S8 and they'd still be ahead of the competition. XZs is outdated for a 2017 flagship, the XZ even moreso. They should've been released two years ago.

Average users only care for day to day performance, and saying of day to day performance, I thought of my previous smartphone GALAXY S6. The TouchWiz UI, after 2 months, I started to notice some lag and if I make a comparison to my current XPERIA XZ, there is no lag at all in the XPERIA XZ. My friend is using the GALAXY S7 EDGE EXYNOS variant and when I asked him about performance he said the smartphone lag when playing when playing Mobile Legends, Modern Combat 5. I never notice any lag for mine in any game, only when it is low battery it will disable the 2 higher clocked cores thats why it kind of lag. Batteey life is based on how often u use, no doubt it can be good at battery life since EXYNOS chipsets are efficient

                              Snapdragon 820 is inferior to Exynos 8890. There's a Snapdragon S7 variant and it's a worse performer and has worse battery life than the Exynos S7 variant. The S7 outclasses XZs in everything: camera, screen, battery life, audio quality, multitasking, graphics and even performance. The S7 is blazing fast with animations set to 0.5x. And don't even make me get to the software part. The XZs just can't compete with S7's rich features and sleek user interface.

SNAPDRAGON 820 and EXYNOS 8890 both are released around the year 2016, so if u mean the hardware is outdated then isn't GALAXY S7's one much more outdated since the smartphone is released earlier if u compare it with XPERIA XZ? U can literslly see the difference already and u are just another person denying the fact that XPERIA XZs performs much better with the extra 1GB of RAM than the GALAXY S7. My friend using a GALAXY S7 EDGE agreed that XPERIA XZS is faster and better than GALACY S7 even though he like SAMSUNG

The S7 specs are very much current. No software optimization can possibly make a device running on old hardware -XZs- beat a device running on superior hardware -S7. And that's ignoring the fact that the device running on superior hardware -S7- is also now well-optimized. The XZs is barely on S6 level. The S7 is future-proof by at least 2 years.
