AnonD-575463, 23 Aug 2016Icons are too big, cant make small. Touch and hold the home screen (not on an icon or anything else, on the wallpaper/empty space on home screen). Then when the personalization menu pops up, choose home settings on the right side and it allow you to make the icons much, much smaller... I personally don't like the big icons, I always have them adjusted to be small...

Hello, I experience severe trouble with my Sony Xperia Z1 compact. Ever since I updated the new android, my phone has become extremely slow, with a lot of bugs. It was advised by sony to update and was explicitly written that my data will not be affected. It is the case, however it takes ages to write a simple sms, all the application freeze, when I connect it to my laptop it restarts the application "sony bridge" every second with no success. It is indeed a nightmare and I am seriously thinking of switching to another brand after 10 years of trust to this company. I was really satisfied by my phone when I bought it but it is unbearable to use right now. Will Sony take any actions to fix this bug? Can I downgrade the android?

I put the screen lock pattern and forgot what I had put almos immediately. Any way I can clear it? I have tried over 2500 patterns but still can't figure out what I had put. Been told to flush the phone but I have important data I don't want to lose.

If not, install Psiphon to change your country and then try again with Sony PC Companion.

Yes, my phone i... moreYes, then it could very well be region related problem :/ It's been about 12 months since Sony released 5.1.1 for Xperia Z so yeah, it should have definitely come by now. Maybe there is a way to update it manually if OTA doesn't give notification?!? Idk.

I have had problems with my Sony Z since upgrading to Lollpop. Battery is gone and shuts down after 3-4 hours. Becomes really hot. Had no problems whilst Kit Kat system. Hating it now.

how can i go to recovery mode in my eperia z c6602?? plz ans...that pink led is not blinkking in my phone ..is there any other way to go to recovery mode for this perticular phone.....??

Yes, my phone is Xperia Z "C6603 variant", the one that support LTE. I do understand the update comes according to region, but not this time, it's just way to long. I've lost hope the update 5.1.1 is ever coming. I'm not sure what I'm missing here, or did Sony stopped supporting Malaysia region. Any idea would be a help, thanks.

Guys, I've been using this phone in Malaysia.
I have updated to lollipop 5.0.0. The problem is, I can't find update for 5.1.1 from OTA.
I have waited very long now but don't think this update is happening. I've also tried Sony Suite, and it just says your phone has the updated version already.
Any1 care to advice please.
