Sony's devices is terrible especially this one Xperia z. After using it for more than 6 months one day i was taking it out of my pocket and its display cracked. I don't know how and there is more than 20 users are complaining about this issue at sony blog on disqus.com
Never buys sony again. and the display price is about 250 $ if you want to know more about it.,write Xperia z display issue in google

I bought an xperia z sometime october of 2014 then after 6 months i encountered a looping on and off i cant use my phone. i bring it to sony service center they replace a new mother board for free because its under warranty. but now again after 6 nmonths i recently encountered another problem my xperia z wont charge damn!!! i recommend not to buy sony cellphone products it sucks!!

t1than, 26 Oct 2015try connect your phone with usb cable to pc.. does pc detec... moreIf the pc doesn't detect the the phone via the USB port, then activate the sleep utility on the pc. Press that window logo on the keyboard or touchscreen enter sleep utility in the search box and the program will present itself in the list of options. Select it and follow the instructions. It really is simple. :-)
You may be instructed to connect the phone to the pc's different ports until you find the one that actually charges it.

Go for it...i hav bot it a yr bak n stil wrks great...mines stil jelly bean though...havnt planed 4 an upgrad yt...its stil a grt phn...

Very less service center
Service centers are running at office time
Very less staff at service center
Long line for repairing like rationing shop
Long waiting time for even conveying estimation of repairing
Repairing cost is approximate 60 % of phone cost
overall, less service center, poor service, high maintenance cost, staff with high attitude
Strongly Dont buy

It fixed all the bugs in Kitkat
it will over heat dont think it wont.
The phone has glass back and running latest software ofc it will heat

There will be no android M on XZ
I have this phone since launch day. Currently running stock 5.1 on it.
Guys this phone is well over 2 years old. Google does not support more than that but Sony still gave us 5.1
Anyone who is thinking of buying this or any new low end phone. Just go for xpz without any problem. they are cheap and very very premium phone .

try connect your phone with usb cable to pc.. does pc detect your phone and does it charges the battery?
If not detect then probably the usb porn on your phone has been damaged..
if it detect on pc but not charging, probably the battery damaged

just need ur suggestions guys...my sony xperia z just suddenly won't charge battery, using it for 1 year and a half,..brought it to sony service center and was told the repair cost would be $2,100.00 hongkong dollar...should I continue with th repair or just buy a new one?

it happens. you should let him in charge longer (like 2 hours) and then press for a few seconds continuously the open button.

Pls No one install Kitkate to Xperia Z.because phone heating heavy when using internet,camara open and gaming.so.kitkate not usefull Xp.Z.jelly bean is the better.
