my Sony Xperia Z will be six years old this year..its still working just as well as when it was new..iv no desire to upgrade until it stops working..when that will be iv no idear..so far its been bullet prof

I've been using this flagship phone for over 5 years now.
This phone was my parents gift.
I've used it for intensive gaming in the first year. Then be it watching or recording videos, taking selfies or pictures, listening to music etc, this phone has been by my side like a true buddy.
I will replace this with a new phone next year but will still keep on using this one.
By now: It's not water resistant, discharges quickly, lags a little bit, internal speakers do not function when on calls so I can't hear anything at times.
BUT, THIS PHONE HAS SERVED ME WELLLL!!

4 and a half years now, momey definitely well spent. It's having issues lately - it's powering on and off, and restarting. I hope it's fixable because I don't want to get another phone, this one has saved me a lot of money and troubles.

there is a bug in the device where some times battery indicator is showing less than real charge so it looks like the battery is dying. if you try to switch off - on again the percentage jumps back to normal
I do this app. bi-weekly , checking the hidden test menu shows nothing wrong with battery
updated to 4.3 still appearing but less frequently.
I don't know if there is other factors for this phenomena

superpeb phone works fime after 4years wish it lasts more than 10 years working with me saving thosands of e pounds for newer smarts phones

I miss this design.
The latest xz2 is so fat. Sony always went weird when innovating. X performance is fat, but i like the 5inch.
Xzs to xz1 increases the forehead but reduce the battery to 2700. Small battery in 5.2inch phone? Not acceptable.
The only good phone now is xz1 compact. That's true compact.
Xz2c is xz2 fat. Looks like L series with cheap plastic.

I'm still using this phone after all these years. It might not be fast as it used to be. But, it gets the job done. Really awesome Smartphone.

Had my Z5 for 2 years. Phone is fantastic,but the endless Os updates drive me nuts. I realize that security needs constant attention, but I wish that Sony and Android would leave everything else alone.
