xperia z,the best phone ever.plz make it have marshallow update.for 5.1.1 no audio download sound app and make it control over the
phone through settings it works.

This is the worst phone I ever had!!!!absolutely useless!!! Touch screen not working properly.... It's the whole phone is shit!!!

I really used to love my Sony Xperia Z1 before when one of my friend bought it for me from Saudi because it has a really good quality even though I soak it in the water for a minute or second still good but stranger stole it and I bought a new one from sm Clark Pampanga and the quality is not good first phone shit I had in my life is Sony Xperia Z1 for sm Clark Pampanga I just bought it and when I try to used it for picture taking under the water for sec it ruined it 3 times I sent it to fix after I bought it.

I love this phone alot... Now sony is not producing this phone anymore in the market... but it is the best phones i ever used ... =)

MAZU, 30 Sep 2015plese tell me that hoe do u upgraded Just download Xperia Z firmware manually from Xperiafirmware.com , then flash firmware using Flashtool. Ask Google how to do it all! Google is the owner of Android, isn't it?

One of the best phones i ever used. The phone was launched with Jelly bean which was upgraded to Kit Kat, then again to Lollipop 5.0.2 and finally to Lollipop 5.1.1. A very good move by SONY. Very few manufacturers offer the updates to it's phones, Samsung is the worst. The Screen, Camera and RAM of Xperia Z are outstanding. Very good waterproofing too, I had washed my phone under tapwater many times. Very happy to use the SONY Xperia Z

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. It's really a poorly engineered piece of crap. I've had way too many hardware and software issues that Sony of course refuses to fix. First of all, it's NOT waterproof; whatever you heard, it's a lie, because I followed all of the instructions yet my phone still broke regardless (It worked after a week though). They're actually banned from advertising it's waterproofing in certain countries because this problem occurs so much. Second, it has a tendency to suddenly die and become "bricked" meaning completely damaged beyond repair in some cases. This has happened 2 times for me, the first time I fixed it myself but now it happened again and it's completely dead this time. Sony acknowledged this problem but of course did nothing about it. So I reiterated, stay away from this phone or anything else from Sony because while they can make a good-looking device, the poor engineering and MAJOR issues you will experience won't justify the premium cost.

I loved this device using it since April 2014
But i think its time to change it since updated to lollipop the battery drains very fast once i used the mobile

tarek, 06 Oct 2015sony are evilsYou gotta understand that the Xperia z has been supported for close to or more than 3 years. And it's definitely longer than what Google promises which is 2 years at least in terms of software os update.
For Sony to keep supporting, it'll cost them more money which they have to consider before channelling it to certain phones.
You can go online and read more as to why Sony would not upgrade it anymore.
If they do, it would be a bonus and I'm happy with the phone as it is.
I would say I'm satisfied with Sony and their software updates so far and the Xperia z is still a good phone.

Why Sony?!? Why? Please add Xperia Z Please its specs are not that outdated and many are still using and loving this original device which make your company popular.. Please make Android M the last for Z please

M using this phone since 2 yr before I updating 5.0 my device 4.4.4
And I can play all heavy games but after updating 5.1 I can't play that game my phn says unfortunately game has stopped. M trying everything but the final result is same.. Anyone help me about this problem

After upgrading Sony z from Jelly bean in to Kitkat the proximity switch or sensor becomes useless. I have a problem now with my sensor. the time I press on the number to make a phone call the screen turns out black and I cannot control any thing because the screen is black until the other side I am calling ends the call.
I don't know why this happened to me despite the fact that I very much take care of my phone.
