This is for GSM Arena, now that Sony has announced that the Z Series (Family) will get the Android 5.0 Lollipop updates, you should change the specs on your site with respect to the series.

I bought z1 but its defective. very time I type letters like "M", other letters appears on the screen like from M it appears G. I have asked sony service center about it but they can't answer me coz they already checked my unit but they said they haven't seen any problem. they dont want to replace my unit even its defective. what should i do?

adhit popok, 13 Oct 2014i would like to buy this unit..what about screen protection... moreIt is mandatory to have a screen protector. The z 1 has a film from factory, that is the anti - shatter film, but gets scratch very easy, so put a screen protector on front and on back in order to be relax.
Z2 and Z3 come without that film. But you should keep in mind that even gorilla glass 3 gets scratched sometimes.

The Kit Kat don't let you to... moreIm using xperia z1 and i already update to android 4.4.4 kitkat,,and i dont have any problem to remove app or anything from internel to externel(sdcard)...you just have to learn a bit how to use a smartphone...if the phone cant remove app to sdcard,,is not a smartphone enough...

I am an unfortunate owner of xperia z1,I will explain: after 3 months of my purchase,battery shows abnormalities like errors in charging,neither full battery nor nil and shutting down.Showed it to service centre,replaced me with n new Z1. This also after 6 months of use,showed,automatic shutting down due to high temperature,even after 3 min use. Again showed to service,replaced me a with a refurbished Z1.This set,after 5 days,is not charging up.shutting down automatically.Now already one year warranty is over,and what I have to do is throw my Z1 away.

I m using z1 for the past 10 days. Superb display & nice camera. But the main drawback is mobile getting heat while calling, sometimes I can't able to tolerate the heat.

can any one ask me which will be the best over Samsung NOTE NEO.I want to purchase as I have never used SONY Brand inspite of being worked in Telecommunication.But this phone fits in the budget.As Note 3 is quite costly.Please advice as tomorrow I am going to purchase either of the one.

I bought this phone last week. Phone is great.. But my phone. Get heating. Very fast.. My camera is got error couple of times shows camera not available or phone is overheated.. Close the camera.. How can solve this problem.. Please help me guys.. Thanks in advance

I bought Sony Xperia Z1 from Sony show room in nakkalgutta Hanamkonda Telangana.
I bought it in June after one month it got technical issues like display was gone and it was not getting charged.I sent it to service center but it is having same problem again...

Z range are really easy to use and love the fact Sony do not put loads of junk pre installed to the handset. Enjoy.

good phone but there are issues such as heat up, application open and close randomly, phone hang,
and most of all very very pathetic service in India don't go by words go yourself check it out ,most of customer are in q with sony premium handsets issue.
unfortunately I am one of the victim. it is better to buy htc ,or apple but never ever buy sony handset.
