Best phone that I ever used, does not have problem unless stop being waterproof
when you brake one of the 3 covers (charger, slot and sim card).

this is the worst smart phone ever made!!!!!!!!!!! i don't know where to start, the touch screen is useless, it can't cope with a tiny bit of water or grease on the screen, it just stopes working. the longer I've had the phone the worse it has got. no i can't send texts or use the phone in anyway because it will either close the app you are on, open up a new app, call someone, send texts when you haven't pressed send, sends texts with random letter which i haven't even pressed. camera is amazing when you can get it to work, most of the time it takes the picture freezes and crashes. this phone crashes a lot, if you can get it to right a text you will have to turn the phone of a few times just because the screen will lose alinement and put a T in when you press E for example. the glass screen gets scratched by dust in your pocket. i have dropped this phone ONCE it landed on the corner and sent a crack across the the top corner of the screen and now this part of the screen doesn't work! to summarise this is a completely useless phone that has no function apart from to waste your money.

I have been using this phone since 1 week, and i had issues with the camera (camera error). I admit, this is a bug in the software; however, I found a workaround in order to recover from this issue without restarting the Z1. Please try the below steps when you face the camera issue next time:
1. Lock the phone, pressing the power button.
2. Press the power button again for unlocking the phone.
3. Instead of swiping on the screen, drag the camera icon on the screen (in order to unlock the phone and get into the camera app).
4. Now the Z1 will work normally.
This did work for me and surprisingly the error never occurred again with my Z1.
The flap issue, I have not seen so far (since its only 1 week old). However, I already have ordered a magnetic charging dock, since I had this concern in my mind already.
No matter whatever issues/ Bugs people say about Sony, I trust the brand and I LOVE MY Z1....

I think this is a common issue for every Z1 user. Sometimes when I switch from auto to manual, or when I just try the camera, it says failed to initialize camera. I mean it's annoying, SONY!
How the hell do I change the ringtone into a custom one?!
Do you think we will get official 4k?! Since z1 has the same specs.
PS: I am not hating. Loving every bit of this phone :) Tnx.

My first Sony phone was Xperia Z. I bought it a new original set. After a few months using, the problem occurred. It suddenly shutdown itself and on itself(selfrestart) although while I am talking with someone. I sent it to the dealer where I bought it. While waiting the thing fixed by Sony, I bought Xperia Z1. After using it for a few months, it start having problem. Sometimes I can't take any picture because "camera error". When it happens like that,it jammed(hang). Cannot exit from camera apps. To overcome this problem, I have to restart it back. Sometimes when I open any apps and want to back to home apps, it goes to camera apps. I bought another Z.... Z2. After few times charging the phone, the charging port can't be closed although I push the cover properly,the cover comes out slowly. Now I'm really disappointed with Sony Z series. I thought the 2nd and 3rd ( Z1 & Z2 ) is better than the 1st one, but.....hopeless and unsatisfied. Now I'm back using Samsung which I had left using it for 2 years already. Better than Sony.....This kind of disadvantage makes me changed my interest in Sony's brand

Anonymous, 01 Oct 2014Z1 or LG G2?Pls help!I have the sony experia z1 and picture quality isn't nearly as nice as the G2. My aunt has the G2 and now I am wishing I had the G2. But the experia has a lot more options in creating different pictures. I would going with the G2 if pictures are your highest priority. The battery life is VERY poor. You will need to close all window several times a day. Or it will not late a hole day. Good Luck

The Kit Kat don't let you to move something to the SD Card or vice versa...
