Their after sale service is very bad. Sony has no control over their service centre particulary in India. Small parts are so precious. Any parts are not available in their service centres. They take 1 to 2 weeks to give any parts of handset. Sometimes the staff of service centre tell a lie to customers. I am feeling astonished after purchase of Sony Xperia Z1. I am from Varanasi, UP, India. The staff of service centre in Varanasi is taking very long time to clarify any issue. If sony takes necessary action against these unresponsible service centres. Then I feel some position may be better.

Its after sale service is very bad. Small parts are so precious. Staff of service centre are taking very long time to resolve small issues. Any parts of mobile is not available at service centre they take complain of any part call back after 8-10 days. I am very dissatisfied to their service.

Screens have a tendency to break on their own, conflicting reasons from battery overheating to others, but sony replaced phone Immeadiately subject to checks so not an issue.

As far as I can tell, it is fully compatible with 2g/3g worldwide, and 4g with both AT&T and T-Mobile. I recently bought one (still in the mail) from www.bhphotovideo.com - their price is considerably better than Amazon or NewEgg. Good luck!

This is a great phone. Check out antutu benchmark and quadrant test. Amazing, the test results at times surpass Z2, ( also confirmed by gsmarena ) and close to top rated phones. The camera does a good job as its hardware is the same as Z2. Yes, the only negative point against this is the battery, which drains out fast. Don't try dipping it in water, as from the looks I can tell you it doesn't appear to be water resistant, so why take a chance, enjoy the butter touch and massive power of this under rated phone. I have been using it for about 3 months now, upgaded to Kitkat 4.4.4 and I just love it.

If any one having any problems about the battery drainage i have solved it out u can go to the settings then to the power management then close manually every app thatis consuming the battery and tgink this is the solution but for the other problems i always contact Sony costumer care and they always reply the same please repair the phone from pc companion but but it has worked in some cases so the phone has its merits and disadvantages

My Xperia z1 has been damaged...i purchased my mobile 4 months ago and when m claiming 6 months accidental warrenty m told by service centr that if the purchase date of your mobile is more than 90 days then you will not get a new mobile but you will get a refurbished mobile which might be effected by scratch or side problem etc and they also said that after 90 days of mobile purchase you will only get a refurbished mobile..
Is that information true that customer will get only refurbished mobile ...
plz guys tell me... PLZ
I just want to know after 90 days from purchase date the customer will get refurbished phone for any problem (hardware problem I.e. Camera, battery or claiming 6 month accidental warranty)...
plz clear my doubt. ..

This phone is terrible ive had it for about three months and have had nothing but problems across many features such as music player not working with auxiliary cords or headphones as well as huge amounts of lagging. if you are thinking about buying ythis phone dont. it is nothing compared to the way it is advertised. 1/5 stars

It's been over a month of using this Device and I must say I am very much satisfied with Quality of the Phone. From Display to processor and even the overall build quality of the Phone is great.
Great on Specs and a very Beautiful Device. No Errors Experienced until now!

While on a call my proximity sensor stops working and i keep pressing the keyboard, do i need to take it to warranty?
