Sony high end smart phones give much more premium feelings than any other smart phones. But, in my opinion, it should release non-water proof versions also in same design so that users can experience louder sound and also get rid of over heating issues.

To increase the sound from the internal speaker a bit more you can enable xLOUD under Settings -> Sound -> Sound effects -> Sound enhancements -> Settings
you will find xLOUD

Its an amazing product of sony,its really fast,no draw backs at all.camera is gud,no hanging issues wen compared to other andriod handsets.
I seriously recommend it.

Secondly, Sony promise for one meter for 30 minutes!
Are you sure the depth of water is 3 feet?
Thirdly, did you close the flat cover carefully?
Finally, you say you bought Z1 one month ago and you can get new Z1 from Sony service because Sony give us one year promise

NOT WATERPROOF. Had my z1 may 30, 2014. Used it under water on June 18, 2014. It was only 10 mins with 2 to 3 feet of water. front camera suddenly got black out Then suddenly phone hangs, Tried to turn it off hoping it will back to normal operation if I reset the phone. After turning it off the phone suddenly wont turn ON. I got out the pool and open the flaps, I notice water marking on SD card and Sim card. After 4 hours main and front camera got moist inside. Bought it to sony service center and their report said that they will not cover the repair to my warranty. technician said he will charge me with the battery (1700), gasket seal (1200) and labor cost (700). which cost me around 3200 pesos. Guys dont buy this phone. They do not cover your warranty if the phone got wet. even if if its not your fault. Cover all the flaps and it will still be entered with water. this is not a waterproof phone guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the Z1C form more then a month and the experience is generally negative. In terms of hardware it seems alright but matched with the 4.4.2 is seriously flawed.
1. there is a constant bug with the album that keeps displaying the thumbnails of the thumbnails of the thumbnails...
2. there is a very annoying crackling sound in the notifications
3. maybe the most important - the camera keeps on freezing. while attributed initially to incompatibility with third party apps this bug appears to happen regardless of the installation of any other 3rd parts camera apps. horrible and even worse when the products mainly advertised point is camera.
all these issues are hands on experience
the following items are reported on various forums to include the official sony support forum
4. battery life worse then JB 4.3
5. waterproof issues are quite common - another selling point
That being said the camera (when is working) is very good.
The phone is quite snappy and responsive.
Playing Modern Combat 4 is very nice and smooth. However the app crashed 3 time in about 8 hours of playing.
I'll try to update as soon as I get the 4.4.4 upodate

phone gets heated up while uing wifi and during charging. be careful with the versions when you are buying c6902 doesnt have 4g while others have.confirm with the seller when you buy.
