Sony Xperia Z1/ Samsung Galaxy S4 i9506/ Google Nexus 5. All have same snapgragoon 800 processor. Which one have better battery life. Why Snapdragon Drains out faster?
I chat and Browse much. Can you suggest me a phone between this mid range?

I bought this model in Januray 2014 and have been hugely disappointed with the quality. The phone refuses to boot every now and then and I have to run to the service center for software upload - on a phone bought on 1st Jan, I have had to lodge on 26th Feb, 26th April and now 16th May! And the only download I have ever done is whatsapp & viber!!! Never had this experience with much cheaper models. It is an insult to Sony brand name.

Really I hate this phone...........
Disappointed with Sony's premium flag-ship model Xperia Z1....
So many s/w and h/w bugs. Vol rocker don't work, touch screen problem. Sometime when battery drained out phone becomes dead, needs a force restart or a run to the nearest service center. Replaced twice but every time Sony India gives me a repaired one.

I wanna buy the xperia z1, xperia z2 or htc... moreDepends what you like and expect from your phone. Z2 and Htc M8 are better than Z1 in terms of performance and battery.
So if you ask me i would say to choose Z2 or M8 over z1.
And i think that Z2 worth extracash as has much better screen and battery life. As for the camera it is the same hw but better sw for it and better processor means more features.
Or you can wait for another 6 months and you could have a snapdragon 805 processor inside of Z3 or other phone.

Hello friends,
I wanna buy the xperia z1, xperia z2 or htcc m8 but i am not sure if:
1- which device have better battery life.
2- which device support 4G in INDIA.
3- Is Camera of z1 same as z2 except some software tweaks. Hardware of camera seems same in both z1 and z2.
4- HTC M8 seems better than Z1. But is it better than Z2 in terms of performance and camera?
5- In INDIA Z2 is costlier than Z1 by 10k. Z2 costs 50K while Z1 costs 40K here in INDIA. Does z2 really worth 10K incremented cost?

pororo, 18 May 2014I have the same issue. Should i upgrade my xz1 from JB to KK? Please wait a few more days with kitkat update. I have done a new kitkat update so let's see how it fares.

Yesterday, i have done a factory resest and reinstalled the latest kit kst available. Probably in 3-4 days i can tell my opion. Seems like battery has increased in stand by, but lets wait a few more days and will tell you then.

Maybe sony advive us to do a factory reset, but should indicate clear when doing through pc companion. Maybe i am not a tech savy so clear indication are recommended.
anyway, i have made a factory reset, then reinstall kit kat. Phone seems to get hotter, battery seems better. Phone did restart out of nowhere, camera told me to wait because of phone's high temperature.
Have i done wrong? I have made a factory reset before and after reinstalling kitkat.
