The phone has good battery and good camera in day light and good overrall acting but the only thing that made me unhappy is the very poor viewed angle screen and washed out colors and some little low sound and ringing volume
And all of this has been fixed with xperia z2...
Or u can get xperia z1compact.. Also have ips screen

But u must reset factory before and after each update

But remember in order not to experience any problem with the update u must make reset factory before and after update complete

No. I have z1 for more than 1month.i would say in my opinion you should update the phone to its latest firmware update it will turns into a great phone
After kitkat update especialy after the fixing firmware update that sony release
I experienced long battery life and less heat and.......
Just one thing you must must must do
Reset factory before and after ur update
And dont forget update to the latest firmware that sony release
Thanks sony itis a great phone exept its very poor viewed angle screen

Bought a Z1 about 7 mths back but the initial excitement died down quickly. Have been dissapointed in the product because :
1. Within 3 mths had to get the phone replaced because it was defective & the experience of getting it replaced was not good
2. The 20+ MP camera is pathetic with a flash & hence cannot be used for indoor shots or in poor light conditions
3. The front glass has now cracked & display has also got affected but the phone cannot be repaired by Sony & they say it can only be replaced at a cost of 21K
4. Whats unfortunate is that after having paid 40K for a phone there is no way you can reach a single responsible Sony employee to ascertain the facts & the franchise is not willing to give the estimate in writing.
Hence this is just a caution to all potential Sony Xperia buyers that think twice before you buy this product because its good from far but far from good !

Hi.
i have bought xperia x1 few days ago.
by mistakenly i have deleted game Asphalt 7 Heat files.
when i am unable to download the required files.
when i am going to download from play store it is costing to me nearly about 300
if any one is having that will you please upload those files for me .

My fone is heating and draining so fast,,,i only use my fone in just 8 hours is it normal?or im just assuming more and expecting more on 3000 mah battery?and the charging time is morethan 4 hours,,,,is it normal?

Brightness less than 40-50% doesn't work fine for me

Just ref... moreYes I too agree, initially I also interested upgrading to kitkat, but after reading lot of negative reviews and also my friend suffering seriously after update to kitkat, then I changed my mind to stay with jb. Till now no issues and battery for me lasting for two days and no lags in any applications.

Using Z1 till now, facing no problems. Thanks God. Just refuse to upgrade for kitkat after reading the negative comments from the users.

Even z2 has a smaller screen on time which means that further optimisations can and should be made.

Ps: my HTC one s with 1500 mah battery last longer than 1 day of normal use.

nickysor, 13 May 2014I have mobile data on all the time but with stamina mode. M... moreI have my z1 with model C6903 4.5 months now. I'm still with android 4.3 JellyBean. I still haven't upgrade to KK because of the negative reviews i read about it. I'm not a heavy user yet. I start my day @ 7:00 am with my phone charged 100%. with mobile data on. No Bluetooth as i don't have the gear, but I need to have a wireless headset to handle calls while working. I talk like average 30 minutes a day. I check my e-mail 2-3 times a day. usually i don't send sms. But i check my facebook a lot and I chat using whatsapp a lot. I also browse the internet a lot. all that with STAMINA mode ON. I also use clean master app & Battery Guru & advanced task killer to save the battery as much as possible. No gaming most of the time, once or twice every 3 days. I also listen to music for 60-90 minutes a day. Screen brightness is less than 50 % adaptable to light after all that my battery became 15-20 % at 7:00 PM. then I have to turn mobile data off and the brightness to the minimum in order to keep the battery till I get home to recharge it. Noting that in Stamina mode am adding only some of the system files in the active in standby. although I've like 160 application installed on my phone. SO do you think I have a problem with the battery ? or am I just over reacting, or had a better expectations for 3000 mah?

i hear many have problem with z1 with android kitkat. i want to ask, all of the problem such battery drain n other with kitkat 681 0r 757???? sorry for bad english :)
