AnonD-252363, 09 Apr 2014I bought my Z1(c6903) on end of feb 2014, and the phone can... moreI think ur phn is running on 4.3 JB, coz lot of people r facing d same black screen/display issues on 4.3 JB, use ur phn on 4.2.2 JB, coz m using my Xperia Z1 on 4.4 kitkat n there r lot of problems on kitkat such as low speaker volume n sluggish performance...

Sony Mobile Communications would like to provide an update in response to reports around abnormal audio functionality and quality; that some users may be experiencing on their Xperia Z1, Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia Z1 Compact devices after upgrading to Android 4.4; KitKat.
We have identified this issue on some units of these models, and measures have been taken to swiftly deliver a solution for our users. A fix for the issues will be included in a new software release that will start rolling out from next week (w/c 7/04), with exact availability and timing varying by operator and market.

I bought my Z1(c6903) on end of feb 2014, and the phone cant be switched on n the screen went blank, even the power button is not functioning suddenly last week!! Got very frustrated with it and sent it to the authorized Sony service centre and they told me it will take about 2 to 3 weeks to repair that fone! They told me the relay is faulty...Is it a common problem with this fone?? If they repair it, will the same problem occur again next time?? It took me a month to decide on which smartphone to buy and after choosing Z1 as the best phone for me and it's so dissapointing!!!!

Do you guys encounter problems with mobile data after the update? My mobile data always gets disconnected and I have to switch off and on my mobile to activate it again. Need help.

I am supposed to update my phone to new system (kitkat), since can't do any downloads, I haven't. My service provider couldnt solve this problem.. Anyone with any idea to help plz.

Hello, anyone can help me plz.. I couldn't download or update available applications. But I could download clips on whatsap only. Was advised to flash the phone, I did, now I still cannot install any application from Google play, updating either. But I can browse. What could be the problem?

Very poor update. Hope to receive a quick fix these days. Ruined my positive first experience with sony.
