My Xperia Z was destroyed while in pocket, display is broken and front glass crushed, and of course warranty will not cover it. These things happen and always has.

Think of it the other way around, if Sony was to replace all broken displays for free then other customers would have to pay for those who are mishandling their phones.

This is the worst device I ever had. The screen showed colored lines after two weeks of purchasing and then it went off. I took the device to the warranty office and they told me they repair it if I pay 350 $ because they claim that the screen is not included in the warranty. Really garbage services sony, it seems they know about screen problems and decide to not included in the warranty. I decided to stop buying any sony products for the rest of my life and I am writing plenty of comments in websites like this. Whoever suffered from Sony garbage warranty please be welcomed to the campaign against sony until they fix their malfunctioning machines from their own pockets.

Hello everyone,
I'm the biggest fan of Sony ever ( i thing so ) but this Z1 is bullshit .. My display has been broke on the 3 day with no reason!! While i have play on it just cracked so please do not buy this one sucks big time !! Sony didn't replace my phone so i have to pay 150 euro for new display

Bought Sony xperia z1 seven days back. The phone is awesomely, amazingly, fantabulously beautiful. The resolution of the screen is very crisp. Details are very clear. Colours are natural and not saturated unlike Samsung. Phone is buttery smooth. No lag whatsoever. Camera is simply wonderful. The 20.7mp shooter does a fantastic job. Videos are also very clear. The triluminous technology is simply awesome. You will not feel like keeping the phone down and will continue watching the videos. And what to say about the sound quality. Sony is known for its superiormost sound. The player offers a wide range of equalizers. Overall hats off to Sony for this flagship phone. But Sony should have matched the correct battery for the specifications. I am not an addict of games. I only receive calls and do some whatsapping and messaging. The battery drains down by late evening. Hardly lasts for about 18 to 20 hours. Simple games like Bubble shooter too, tend to drain the battery. I wish Sony had thought about the battery more seriously. Agreed that none of the android phones lasts for more than one day. But for the specifications battery should have been more powerful.
But, I would still strongly recommend the phone. Unless one is not taking battery in to consideration. It is definitely worth the money. You will enjoy every moment with the phone.

First set your camera to manual mode and go to settings. Then select whichever ISO setting looks best for you.

JB 4.3 is not bad considering the user interface and stuff but now i cant download from google play!! It just wont start downlading, I tried all the suggestions in the net like clearing your cache and data for google play and all but none of it works....

I don't experience any of those with my unit. I play RealSteel and Cytus for hours without overheating. I'm on JB 4.3 right now. As for the camera, do you enable flash when taking pictures at night?

frnds i purchased z1, when i open my camera in night time the camera was showing all dots & lines on my camera screen i given complant to sony authorised center & they replaced my z1 with new z1 mobile & new z1 mobile also same like old mobile same problm at night time.....frnds any one having same problem (means in darkness as well as night time dots & lines on your camera) with ur z1 mobiles.........???????
And i am facing another problem when i am playing games in my z1 up to 15-20 mins the mobile was fully over heated and when i open my camera it was telling that phone was over heated please close camera it was showing..,,i purchased my phone 2 weeks back only
