It's an amazing phone. Never had a doubt when I bought it, and I've never regretted doing it. It's 2 years old now but the battery life is still pretty good not to mention the ultra stamina mode, and I'm still using it to take pictures underwater, but most important of all is the 20.7mp cam even though 8mp auto preferences is enough, it doesn't have 4K function but you still can get it by rooting the phone :D

i can't take good quality pictures , some time The z1 camera was whiten and blur. Please help the problem .

cam is 20.07 mp.not 5mp okay.just go to settings in cam then select manual mode.not in auto mode.in auto mode it will be only 8.0mp.its a good phone i ever used.charging is good,cam superb,ram & processor is enough.go for it.... I LOVE SONY

This causes heating problem, but there will be no effect at all on the performance of the phone due to heating even at very high temperature.
Camera don't know what if there is really a problem with your camera or the piece you got. But primary camera of XPERIA Z1 at 20.7MP is one of the best in the market. Yes agreed the secondary camera is not good and not recommended for selfie-fans.
Battery don't know how you use but I would recommend you to use Stamina Mode at-least at lower battery level. SONY Stamina Mode is the best because once your screen is switched off not even 1% of battery fall for a long time and even while using it it will last a very long time.

I have always been a fan and a user of Sony phones. I used 3 Sony phones before I purchased a Sony Z1 some time in October last year. This phone has ISSUES: it gets hot; the camera quality is very poor; the battery life is nothing to write home about,....
I doubt if my next phone will be a Sony.

I have been using sony Xperia z 1 for a 1 year and a half without any accidents, suddenly now the touch screen sometimes becomes crazy and not accurate, but when i turn it of then on it works perfectly, plz some one reply.

But still lot of people are going for it instead of Z3 or Z5 at that high price.
