Hey guys, I really need some opinions and suggestions..I want to buy a new phone in this coming week..so I am really confused to choose between these two smartphones, iPhone 5S or Xperia Z1..which one really worth to buy? Because I gonna use it for the next two years.

john, 26 Dec 2013i am frustrated with the camera since it is 20.7 mp as stat... moreDefinitely recommended! The Xperia Z1 and LG G2 are both top of the food chain. The Z1 camera is superior since the update!

Anonymous, 26 Dec 2013experia Z1i am frustrated with the camera since it is 20.7 mp as stated on their commercial views. most if u take a picture on night. anybody cud say anything or came from the tech support from the sony.. tnx & more power.... from now on NOT recommended.

I m using sony xperia z1 but i m not satisfied at all.
I suggest u to go for samsung note3 or apple iphone 5..

Hey guys, I really need some opinions and suggestions..I want to buy a new phone in this coming week..so I am really confused to choose between these two smartphones, iPhone 5S or Xperia Z1..which one really worth to buy? Hi guys, good day. Just want to share with you my experience with my Xperia Z1.
Bought it from an online store here in the Philippines named Great Buys last October 31. My phone has the yellow hue which I noticed or should I say confirmed beyond the 3-day replacement period (if there's a manufacturer defect). Since it's tolerable I didn't pursue in getting the phone checked. Now, yesterday December 25. The usual activities with my phone - camera tests, navigating the phone, turned off the Wi-Fi (to conserve battery). Before doing those activities my phone was charging via its charging dock. I plugged the phone out from charging with a battery of 40%+. After doing the said activities I locked the phone, laid it on bed as I was about to take a picture of it together with its new case. When I was done taking pictures of my phone, when I pressed the power button to unlock it, nothing happened. Blank screen. I tried several troubleshooting procedures like the power button + volume up, hard reset (red button beside the SIM card tray), tried to charge the phone via USB cable and charging dock, connected the phone via USB cable to the laptop to check if the unit will be detected by PC Companion and SUS, left it for a hours without doing anything on it but unfortunately nothing has been successful in waking or powering up the phone. No notification light when I tried charging the phone. Only vibrations when I tried the power button + volume up, hard reset (red button beside the SIM card tray) but no notification light.
This morning, at the ofc, I tried the same procedures but still the same. BUT there's a notification light but it is RED. I brought it to the shop where I bought it and said that the service warranty of the phone is void since I upgraded the OS to 4.3 (so they will only honor the service warranty if you don't or haven't upgraded the OS of your phone). They referred me to a repair store but they weren't able to revive the phone, still the same. The phone was perfectly fine before this happened. Not rooted.
So now I've only used the unit for less than 2 months for worth P26000. This is very frustrating. The store didn't agree with a replacement. Very disappointed with what happened. I guess I really have a faulty unit. I'm disappointed with the store where I bought it and I'm not sure if I have to be disappointed Sony because of this.
