peaches , 14 Dec 2013Learn to own up to your mistakes man! I'm sure you have not... moreMaybe he didn't read the information on the leaflet about the waterproofnes of the phone. It can only stand for a low pressure of water. I've done this a lot of time when I wash my z1, and there's absolutely no problem. You shouldn't have bought this phone if you don't know how to use it correctly!

I'm sure you have not carefully closed all the flaps that's why that happened. carelessness voids the warranty. Lesson: don't ever dip your phone into water if you're not sure that you've carefully closed all the flaps. Or you'll end up whining and complaining about Sony's product. And that's not so cool.

hyy guys...
brought this phone about a week ago...
there might be a problem...
on 100% charge its showing 1 day of standby time on normal settings and about 6 days standby with stamina mode on...
but sony claims it has over 30 days of standby time??
does any one has the same problem??
how much standby does your phone show on full charge please let me know...
or is there some special settings to get 30 days standby or do i need to get it replaced??
please help...

All I know is that Sony along with Samsung, HTC, LG and Nokia are all great in their own bragging rights and I love them all than Apple. Ooops! Sorry Apple fans, your iPhones are nice looking but hey! They're outdated! Android and WinPhone for the win!

I have an Optimus G Pro and an HTC One X+ and I am planning to buy the Nokia Lumia 1520 but fudge! I saw this one in real life and got to play with it and I should say I must sell my 2 old phones and grab this one instead rather than wait for the 1520 then along with this I will buy a Nokia 625! :)

Let me educate you, It is scratch resistant and not scratch- proof. Learn to differentiate. Get your facts straight before making any false accusations.

Even the manu... moredon't feed the troll... the fact that this poster did not make an effort to give himself a nickname means that he just passed by to bash this phone and Sony with false accusations. A lot of them are becoming numerous these days. But just to make it clear, Z1 is definitely waterproof, i wash mine like every 2 days to clean up those fingerprints. An excellent phone indeed. Don't believe haters unless they have proof.
