Slayer, 04 Dec 2013Suggest you go read PA review on camera phones. The only to... morewith camera alone what are you going to achieve?. When putting lot of money you need to use a mobile wisely. People love android and iphone devices only. Camera alone doesn't make it all. Sony z1 is an excellent mobile and people who use it knows it well.

Bought z1 jus ten days back.had so many doubts about its battery,device being heated up n along wit hanging problem.I cleared it throu Gsm arena.thanks to Gsm n d ones who cleared my doubts.battery is fine.with mobile data on for 24hrs,n ofcourse stamina mode on,it stands for more than 2 n some hours,wit battery left wit 10-20%..I use wts app,Facebook, Google etc..but stil haven't tried games n youtube.so far no hanging Problem...dono wt ll happen later on.n about d device heatin problem,as many said before,it's not much.when I download apps it gets heated.but only when too many apps r downloaded.Regarding calls,I speak lots over d phone.may a single cal for more than 45min-1hour.browsin speed wit 3g s Ok.camera s Ok but feel it's not up to d mark.size s satisfactory,better than note2.previously,had note2 n changed to z1.looks wise,it gives a majestic look . It's pouch looks nice except for tat small strip to b closed at d back.volume s jus moderate.may be u ll not hear wen it's far,unlike other mobiles.it's headset is d worst one.any China mobile s headset would b better thanSony s.little upset about tat.using an old samsung headset. Overall it's nice to use though d price s on d higher side for d specification.SOMETIMES, I feel I'm a proud owner of Sony Xperia z1..I hope this would be useful to those who read..

Fantastic phone, but I can assure you, the screen is NOT scratch-resistant glass. I was disappointed to notice today, that after some everyday rough and tumble in my handbag, there were a couple of scratches on the screen. Will be testing it in the water this weekend.

Best phone in market right now,,,,,, experia Z1.....buy it now,,,,, note3. Is not snapdragon 800 n GPU also not adreno 330,,,,, so dont waste money on indian version of Note3 .. It heat up also very fast,,,,,,only experia z1 n LG G2 R having latest hardware but z1 has better camera n memory card option n waterproof n best look right now GOOOOOO FOR Z1

AnonD-115431, 03 Dec 2013i hate how sony fans dont want to lose their pride hahaha s... moreHey jaypee ur note 3 is good ha that's why the price of note 3 dropped drastically to 5 k after launch in just 3 months and Sony z1 price is the same.Samsung note 3 cheap plastic, no gorilla glass, screen breaks easily, not so functional features that is why Samsung is coming up with ips and lcd screen for lower version check the Samsung mega 6.3 screen it's lcd.so Samsung itself is losing confidence in its amoled ha ha ha ha.

still, i consider that we should respect each other taste, so everyone is entitled for an own opinion and taste.
For some z1 is the best, for other note 3 is the best. honesty i think that you can be wrong with either of these 2 phone...or lg g2, sgs 4, iphone 5s.
Sony is very good for PS 3 PS4, but i wouldn't go as far as wishing to stay with pS or TVs. I want more competition and more options for me as buyer.
Still, i like Sony phones very much.

I'm using this phone more than 1 week, it is nice phone unique, good battery backup, good camera especially low light but not 20mp it is likely 13mp only.
Disadvantages is heavy (170G) and over size. comparing to S4, s4 is good size but not unique, you will find every ware S4, but Z1 is unique like rolls royce.

its a great great great phone,,,,,,all samsung phones look same n i used galaxy siii n got bored of amoled screen....first u like amoled n its blown out colour but after few months u will start geting bored bcos in mind u know its all not real colours,,,,i wanted to get out of amoled screen phones n wanted a good lcd or ips screen ,,,,lg g2got great screen but very old design n camera also not upto experia z1,n no memory card option ,,,so i went for z1 it got every thing ,,,good look great camera, memory card option,water proof,n screen look great n best straight on ,,,i agree its viewing angle not great but who use a phone at 45degree angle, i use my phone straight on n its best screen wen looking at straight ,,,,

Got Z1 recently, great phone, great pre-installed apps (only the ones one needs ... great stock file manager, etc.) all can be disabled and thus be gone effectively from phone is wanted.
The camera is pretty good, still lacks in dark times.
There is only ONE speaker despite misleading design of bottom grill. Sound is excellent none-the-less. The walkman appication has many sound enhancement feaures not found in any other app, especially for free.
Very happy with phone overall
Waring:
Do NOT unlock bootloader as this breaks camera functionality. Sony is trying to fix it, read articles on it if you are interested!

- SCREEN: BAD,too much saturation &Contrast
- MUSIC: so so so so bad...
- EARPHONES/HEADSET: Poor
- Design: Poor quality (Cheap Plastic)+ same, same, same (all Galaxy)
