HI guys....
First thing don’t compare Android phones to IOS & windows phones. Cause with 512 RAM windows & IOS phones can run very well then Android phones (which having 512 RAM).
Compare the phones with in same range and OS.
Apple: - Having great OS ever (till now) IOS, Siri – No virtual Assistant can beat it, rich applications, having great body & more compactable, smooth performance.
Cons: - No memory card, price, less apps
Sony: - water proof & dust proof, good camera, really good display, maintaining good built quality. (Especially SP & Z series)
Cons: - To much big Bezel (4.5 inches phone is equal to 5” inches other brand phones), sharp edges, bad battery backup (Not ZR & SP), screen protection (less when compare to gorilla glass), Not customizable.
Samsung: - maintaining very good sensors, Price, easy to use, good AMOLED display, hitting with a lot of models. (S series & notes)
Cons: - Almost every mobile looks like same, built quality is bad.
HTC: - excellent beat Audio, beautiful display, feather touch, good looking models.
Cons: - Very sensitive will get lot of repairs.
Nokia: - best Windows phones, good in camera. (Lumia series)
Cons: - Heavy Body, Very less apps, Not easy to use.
LG: - To be frank only LG G2, Nexus 4 & 5 are good phones.
Blackberry: - best business purpose phone.
Motorola: - Once upon a time it was king unfortunately not now. (My first mobile)
In my opinion best mobiles now are Apple: 5 & 5S; Sony: Z1 & ZR; Samsung: S4 & S3; HTC: One & One Mini; Nokia: 520,720,920; LG: Nexus 4&5, LG G2; Blackberry: Z10, Z30; Motorola: Droid series & Moto X & Defy

Anyone who has the yellow tint on their Z1? Mine's having this issue. S/N BH906. The tint is evident in gray areas like notification bar and the setting of the weather widget. That's the only problem I've got so far. Viewing angles not a problem. I am selling it now. My brother and sister says not to as the screen looks ok. My friends agree that it is suffering from the yellow hue but not really pushing me hard to selling it as they aren't that techie or not a big deal for them. Is it a wise decision to sell it? Again that's the only problem. I hope someone can give me an advise on this one...

kamal, 28 Nov 2013Battery backup very low...can sm1 help me...only lasts for ... moreFunny but my battery lasts a minimum of 1.5 days, yes not a heavy user but a normal user although if I play games, I still get just over 1 day.........Food for thought eh? Just wish all the liars and trolls will leave this blog so Z1 users can exchange proper experiences rather than have to read the useless view of TROLLS!

That's all I care about what I know it well, but in the speed RAM in NOTE3 largest are 3 gigabytes At Sony is 2 GB

Using xperia z1 from last 20 days but not happy with the camera picture quality. Can please anyone tell what settings should be changed in manual mode to get best quality picture thanks in advance

Had to get it relaxed within 7 days due to phone heating in upper portion. Ie near ear phone.
Sony gave replacement after 1 week waiting. This new replacement also same issue.
Phone heats up within a minute of call though all other applications are off
Trying to make Sony give me a solution

[deleted post]i have one more question and a serious one i believe. the software system now is jelly bean right and it is planned to be updated to kit kat. what is next? after kit kat? are there more updates? i don't know these things cause i am a user of iphone 4s and iphone has an update for like every 2 months (it's not a huge difference but it's an update) so you guys are android users and you are more experienced than me in android, are there updates like in apple?

I've had the sony z1 since October, tested the z1 through and through, I have not faced one problem, as a gaming device it is fantastic. Build quality is exceptionally superb, also tried various micro sd cards, sandisk extreme pro 64gb and also sony branded micro sd card 32gb. Tranfering files is mega fast from pc to external sd card and also transfering files within the device, I'm chuffed to bits with the z1. P.S to all, if you looking for genuine sony branded micro sd cards, go on amazon for low prices.

[deleted post]thank you for your help, i'll take it under my consideration. are you a user of xperia z1? because this phone should have some negatives, it's a great phone but it has it's negatives such as if you want 20mp camera you have to go for manual mode, i find that a bit negative

AnonD-5629, 29 Nov 2013Had hands on the Samsung S4 and Note 3, htc one and Iphone.... morei strongly agree with you. but i feel that i cant trust the system of sony. sony launched xperia z in january and in 8 months sony launched xperia z1. it's not like apple that launches iphone once a year. i don't want to buy a phone in december and in january a new model will appear. that's my biggest concern. the device by it's self is absolutely awesome, and it's features. i want to be sure that the new model will be next september from sony. can someone confirm that?

my sony xperia z 1 bought in october, one month only but phone shuts down many times, while using the message or using phonebook, while speaking to incoming call, simply shutting for no reason at all.
have given to service centre, having doubts about this

Had hands on the Samsung S4 and Note 3, htc one and Iphone. Z1 undoubtedly is the best most practical phone in the market. No compromises, no useless gimmicks that eat up you memory, premium build materials all in the casing of a rugged water proof phone. HOW CAN YOU POSSIBLY TOP THAT?

i have a question about sony xperia z1. i'm thinking about buying this great phone but i'm not sure cause there are some other great competitors and in lower price such as LG nexus 5. so can you tell me if sony xperia z1 really deserves to be bought? and i'm thinking one more thing, xperia z was launched in january 13' and z1 in september 13' what if a new and better xperia launches in january 14' like xperia z2...i want to be sure that my phone will be the best of sony for like 5months from the day i will be this, if i buy this. it's a great phone to be honest,so i want your opinion guys. xperia z1 i believe it's much better than iphone 5s but i feel that i'm mistaken

true review::1st- its the best looking android smart phone whole world agreed to it
2nd -it is water proof n dust proof.
3rd -its got the latest hardware present in market today for processing n gaming.
4th -its got best camera in android smart phone beating note 3 & lg g2 in day light n slightly better or equal in low light to note 3 & lg g2..yes its picture had little less i mean just little less in contrast but now after firmware update its picture now got lot of contrast n got even more sharp ,,so those who complain abt its camera r those who hv not updated there software yet n shouting bla bla bla
5th -(screen)now read it carefully...its got a better screen then experia z, whites loot realy white n contrast very gud n colours r so great n punchy n true to reality...viewing angle is normal not bad....now for those who shout that its viewing angle not good ...first tell me do u all use ur phone at 45 degree angle.....ur answer is no.....so we all know we use our phone 95 percent of time looking straight at it.....so wat if it not got great viewing angle..... but it still got normal viewing angle n more then normal i wud say.....
this phone is great ,,,, n people in this world not a single thing is perfect. only god is perfect.....so i answered all the questions,,,,, now only fool will have question left,,,,,

KaP, 28 Nov 2013You should use superior auto mood in camera Then you snap ... moreIn stamina mode, it lags to play games and superior auto just doesn't work. Fact is, Sony has miserably failed to make the best Android cameraphone. 8 MP pictures are way crisper on my Nokia 808 than my Sony Xperia Z1 by a huge margin. I'm so disappointed with camera and battery backup....
