hey, some good reviews here but I'm having nothing but bad luck, got my 2nd z1 now first one had a camera problem 2n one is starting to have display problems, my wife has one to that is currently in for repair it just went dead. any one else having similar problems

Samsung Note 3 is the top dog on smart phone to date followed by Xperia Z1. However Xperia Z1 costs less than Note 3, if you have extra money go for the Note 3 but Xperia Z1 is far the best when it comes to functionality and price.

It does not mean better phone.
Touchwiz& other useless apps eat up to 2g RAM
S pen app also eat much RAM!
So note3 is lag, overheating, made frequently restart
4k resolution is used to fool customers
Of course , amoled(1080*1920) can't give 4k
Only SONY can produce 4k TV
SO,4k is a gimmick
Go for z1 and enjoy z1's hard wear& soft wear wise!!

It's much much better built and looking than SGN3 (no fear of damage from falls of fluids). Much better camera too and, over time and usage, much more fluid and practical and stable software. Samsung may have an extra 1 gig RAM but they keep filling it up with useless gimmicks that the phone freezes frequently. USB 3? since when was that a deal shaker? 64 Gigs over 16 is a plus I'll grant you that. But otherwise. I respectfully disagree.

I think This mobile is gud but not best and note3 is better no offense
bcz Xperia Z1 has nonremovable Battery but note3 has removeable battery , no infrared but note has , 2.0 usb in Z1 but note has 3.0, it has internal 16 gb while note has upto 64gb , and the main thing Note3 has 3gb ram and Z1 has 2gb
also Z1 has scratch proof n waterproof screen but note3 don't have , it can survice upto 30mint in water but note can't , it has built in radio but note3 dont have still confused ..
So still waiting for some more ultimate mobile

Xperia Z Xperia Z1 good smart fone but TFT Screen very bad. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 perfect...and very good.

I got this phone 5 weeks ago and the sound on the video is very very poor compared to the HTC Sensation XL I had. Also this phone has crashed on me today, after 5 weeks I am not impressed at all.

right to be said "best of sony in a smartphone"
this phone is awsome,i bought it on september 24 and i am using this phone and is a bomb in comparison to note 3 and htc one its camera is containing the sony lens G and is of 20.7 mp whereas the note 3 is having a 13 mp camera ... if you are thinking of processor, in that ways z1 is having 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad core processor which is never seen before .....
THIS PHONE IS AWSOME AND IS THE BEST PHONE IN THIS PRICE......

This phone worth their price. This is high-end smartphone and the best phone I have ever use. The worst thing about this phone is in some country headphone are not included.

After six months I've exchanged with XZ1 XZ. XZ is a good cell phone, but the battery is difficult for me to endure the day. Battery XZ1 can withstand two days (stamina mode is turned on). XZ1 has and what we lacked in the XZ, a trigger for the camera. Charging Stand is now even better, there's no need to open the covers (Bluetooth headsets work perfectly).
Everything else is better, screen, processor, memory ... But that it was all wrong and the XZ. Creating a beautiful course, a great feeling to hold it in your hand. The frame and the angle of view will not speak at all, they are whining immature users that they themselves do not know what they actually want. XZ1 is by far the best cell phone on the market!
