guyz honestly im dissappointng again to know zi overheating and falash problems.iwas gonna buy it but not sure now.finaaly i recommend u all guyz.dont buy any new socalled phones.they r having major issues.its only the race or mega pixels nd big screen.nothng else.let them finish this race.

bro Z1 mini has 4.3 inch and for this screen 720p is enough for most of the work and believe me U can't feel any difference between 1080p and 720p on a phone cuz both have enough PPi density.

Hi everybudy,
Guys plz help me out here. I'm already using Note 2 from last 10 mnths and am quite satisfied with the device. No complaints at all.
I want to change it now and i basically use my fone for 1hr Surfing net on Wi-Fi, 1 hr playing games, taking 3-4 pics and 1 hr of calls. Not much into music or videos.
I'm confused between Z1 and Z Ultra. Z ultra fits my requirements perfectly but the lack of camera flash is a deal breaker for me. Z1 is awesome but as i'm already using a 5.5" screen so 5" seems kind of downgrade to me. Size is not an issue with me as i'm 6'2" and got pretty big hands.
Help me out guys and please don't suggest NOTE 3. I don't want a plastic toy again.

I may add that people are dropping and destroying the touchpanel on G2 at alarming rates, the combination of narrow bezel and the unfamiliar grip you need to use to reach the back buttons makes it the most drop prone phone ever.

Daliah, 15 Oct 2013Funny debated this for weeks, finally ordered Z1. (i know w... moreI tested G2 ave found it to be inefficient for my usage. KnockOn works only if you have Downs Syndrome, you have to knock so slowly that you will not be able to wake it up if you are in a hurry.
The most insane thing is they let you customize the on-screen buttons but an appswitch button is not among the choices, unbelievable! They let you add two lame buttons, one is shortcut to a quickmemo and the other is to pull down the notifications. I'm speechless, really, G2 is a toy with lots of tasteless themes but nothing worth while.

The end of the week is approaching fast and Z1 will finally be available here, and I'm getting more and more undecided if to buy it or not. It's very unfortunate that it's bigger than Xperia Z, and also that the Z has a very capable and sufficient camera and more than enough performance. Z1 does not offer more storage or anything important, in many ways the Xperia Z is too good to be replaced already, especially since it has some advantages over the Z1.
Then there is Z1 Mini, great size but the lack of Full HD is very unfortunate for someone who do as much web browsing on the phone as I do without resorting to mobile sites. Full HD and desktop versions of webpages in portrait mode is so great, doing the same on 720p in landscape mode is absolutely not a good alternative.
Xperia Z has advantages over both Z1 and Z1 Mini, none of the 3 are perfect, I dont know what to do.

Got my Z1 on October 11th, 2013. So far it's so good. Camera features are awesome, making photography more beautiful. The sleek style and look with metal border makes it a truly smart looking phone. I am just loving it.

i heard about the problem with the flash and camera and hanging problem.. is it true ? i am worried before spending handsome amount for a smartphone.. any other issues ? please reply and help to make me decide.
i checked Note 3, z1, lg g2. and finally reached to the conclusion to buy z1. and today itself i read about problem issues in z1. so again confused.

I checked out all the top dogs who came out recently, HTC One/ iPhone 5s / LG G2 / Nokia 1020 / Xperia Z1 & Note 3 !! After doing a good research on all I ended up by not buying any of them ! :(( this talk of that's good ,this is better ...etc isn't useful at all ,I decided not to research that much into my next smartphone anymore I'll be buying what I like in the beginning and that's it,
ps. (I think I'll be going for the Z1 for now but not sure)
