But what happens if you drop the phone in the sand? The headset plug is open, in the water SONY says have no problems, but if you get sand, it will have a problem?

Waterproof is good for security. Not to use all the time in the water. IF you open one of the little protection coover You will lost the smartphone. Need to be really carefull with that. It's the same you use the smartphone inside a plastic case.

Us tech heads reckon Sony are not even making these phones its cheap Chinese manufacturer..We also assume Sony have used cheapish components to make a quick buck..The displays used by Sony are of poor quality and they have said lets add our Bravia engine and tweaks and leave it at that..I don't know any mainstream reviewer using Sony products they are of inferior quality..Sony used to be respected brand in 80'2 and mid 90's then lost the quality brand name.
Sony Ericsson were great Sony are not.

The viewing angle on this phone are good and the colour saturation are more natural thn OVR SATURATED AMOLED crappy
My eyes always sick went see Amoled screen display oversaturated colour and went i take a pic with my father s4 my skin is yellow not white, blue had grennish, and the colour like cartoon. And the pattern are not real.like SONY hahahahhaha u garbage just get out from here

I bought Z1 last night, it says camera cannot be opened due to temperature issue. after some time it opens... Any1 facing the same issue..

Z1 has viewing angle problem tooI compared my LG G2 with my friend's Z1, LG G2 is far better than Z1.
But Z1 is far better than ugly, worst and unusable Note 3. Note 3 battery life
is only 2-3 hours.

Bought the phone just last week and this phone blows my mind. Super fast on the 'Three' network where if i would use my old samsung it cut my connection sometimes. Not one single time it needed to buffer so far, multi-tasking is brilliant, got 20 screens open and more, still goes as fast as promised. The diversity of apps, and Not to mention the camera- Blown away by its quality- 20.7 megapixels you get quality for your money. My wife has a samsung note, one of my friends has the new iPhone 5s which has an 8megapixel camera, but this one beats them all by far. it even has a stronger processor with its 2,2GHz- Love it. Overall 10-10 for me.

hi, I bought Z1 a week back, the best thing about this phone is the display, i felt like i m in it and the speed is lightning fast. but only problem im facing with this phone is whenever i click the picture it doesnt seems to come that good as promise by sony. earlier when i bought xperia U even it had the same problem as Z1 so i opened the back cover of xperia U to check the lens but i found out that there was a small plastic cover on the lens which use to make the picture look blurred so i removed it and then it was back to normal, So can there be the same plastic cover on the xperia Z1 lens which makes the picture blurred? please guide me in this matter, it will be most appreciated. Thank you in advance.
