how come this doesnt have 4k recording ?? even though it has snapdragon 800 ? i know its not the most useful feature for everyone but still having it is a big plus ..hope it gets 4k with 4.3 or 4.4 updates

As for optics they are sony g lens which are basically minolta lenses as sony bought them out.
The sensor size of z1 is the same 1/2.3" as found in most compact cameras upto £300.
So image quality should be on par with camera.
Remenmber sony makes proffessional cameras lenses sensors for music film industry.
Also nikon sony pentax and others all use sony 1/2.3" sensors and aps-c slr sensors also full frame dslr sensors.
if you dont know cameras do not comment.
As for the fone alot of people complain about the bezels dont make the phone easier to hadle fact!
Viewing angles have been fixes fact!
Reason of extra size the fone is WATERRESISTANT!!!

Dont really care about 5inch phone. Its good but waiting for the Z1 mini release as they are good to handle.
