I thought I might skip this due to size but having popped into Phones4U and playing with one, it is simply amazing! The pictures are amazing, the look and feel is amazing, the build quality is amazing! One word to describe this phone...amazing! Couldn't care about trolls and their opinion, the viewing angles are superb, even with the phone flat, you can still see perfectly. Roll on 19 September!

i think Z1 has it all, from premium build body, superb camera, nice software applications, water and dust proof, big battery, walkman ... hardware are superb.
if you put side by side Z1 against Note 3, Note 3 becomes a cheap phone in just one look.

but after sony xperia z,z ultra and z1

sony introduce walkman to SonyEricsson, i'm really enjoying walkman phone,because of great audio + clear megabass,in 2011 they introduced xloud to lww wt19i which make lww no1 android music phone.i'm hungry and madly need walkman phone with large creen dual speakers like wt19i.when are they going to release walkman phone for people like me.

but today no smartphone is better than z1!

no sammy and any other device is better than z1!
but yep this revolution is due to sammy only!

Le le mera, 09 Sep 2013I hv tried xperia z xperia sp and xperia m but sound wa... morei tried most of sony device...xperia L...xperia M...xperia Z and ZL..the audio level was marvelous i would say...galaxy s2 is nothing even if u compare the device like xperia L the beast in mid-range android phone...xloud is not at all fake...trust me i don't want to get bias but i use xloud to adjust volume and it works fine to enhance loudness of internal speaker...it doesn't matter where you belong no body here is paid

The dynamic range of Z1 camera could be a problem, clipping the highlights more than 1020 does, but seems like 1020 does this on the cost of details in darker areas where Z1 clearly outshines it. Need more samples. And then maybe Sony can tweak the dynamic range in software upgrades.
