Hi All, I bought Sony Experia Z1 Ultra phone from Poorviga show room. They requested me to get insurance for it but I thought why should I need to pay Rs.1,500? Thats the blender mistake. My phone was switched off within 10 days. When I bring it to Sony service center they said it has physical damage when I kept it in my phant pocket. There is a minor air crack in screen without putting it down. This is the 2nd phone from Sony which is not working within 3 months. Sony should not manufacture these kind of low quality phones. Sony is going out of race from TV, Audio & now mobile phone too. I hate Sony nowadays. Sony Service center is pathetic service with loads of fed up people. Don't go for Sony else take insurance.

Don't know where these guys complaining here are buying their phones, all of them, not just these guys here on z1, but if you look at every phone there are lots of people complaining, you can't buy something second hand or fake and complain about it, phone is great just received new update, camera is very good just don't expect something like a digital camera just because it has 20.7 mp, it's still better than most of the competition. Phone is blazing fast and the battery lasts me 2 days with internet always connected and brightness set to medium on auto. Only complains i would have about this phone is speaker not loud enough due to water proofing, microphone is good but can't record properly very high volumes also the screen viewing angles could've been better. But these things are just to insignificant considering how well the phone performs and looks. Who else says otherwise either has a faulty unit or installed who knows what on it.

I had this phone a year and a half and it's the best thing I ever bought. 1080p screen, 20.7mp brilliant camera, very accurate GPS and just brilliant overall. If I had one bad thing to say it's that the loud speaker isn't the best, but it's loud enough to hear notifications and calls and if I want to hear music I'll use headphones. It doesn't make me think any less of it. Brilliant phone!

Recent upgrade system, is good but version same. What else do you want from 2years old model. Its delicate but so do S6 Edge. Sony has lost rhythm n floating 3+ as X4 nonsense. This small upgrades cud got from update. Think no buyer to buy cell division. As from inception price is always higher. Live with it till is dies.

Really the z1 camera is very poor, i think sony team was a big mistake to written it. it should be 2.7MP, but by mistake they written 20.7MP. (may be sony team have no idea about the actual value of point), its really true, the picture quality of z1 is equal to nokia 500 (5MP). Am sure if sony provid same camera quality as nokia 1020 (41MP) then sony will be written yea... Its really 200MP. Universal best camera phone NOKIA. For forever.... Feel guilty sony and sink and die to water... Really... Castomers are your god, dont cheat them...

How to solved battery problem of z1.
Brightness min.
No live wallpaper.
Stamina mode activate all.
Turn on battery saver under battery usage in power mngt.

problem in only set is heavy waight and extra charger point.otherwise no problem.good performance battery backup ok than other phone.

Within 7 month my Z1 got problem in Touch screen & over heating while using camera, Net,attending incoming r outgoing calls...etc..etc..
I request u all pl don't waste ur money by purchasing such like bull-shit,my batch mobile go for some other good brands in market,.. Be alot & think lot of times before buy Sony mobile models... TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY.... Tku all..

AWESOMENESS is all i can say. Its the best phone i have had and i have had a lot.
Keep up the great products sony. My next is the Z3. I'm sony for life.

Had my z1compact for 18 months and was highly delighted with it running on kitbag.
Generally got minimum 2 days on a single charge in normal use...heavy use down to maybe a day. Rarely had cause to restart it.
Lollipop upgrade has ruined my phone, Now consumes much more power...battery usage reports most of it is down to the On
..I now need to charge daily, Basic functions like phone are lagging I miss calls because the swipe to answer doesn't work consistently. Camera and other apps crash regularly and I need to restart the phone often. i was hopeful a recent update would help, but it seems to have made no difference...very disappointed Sony allowed the lollipop update out... Hope they fix things soon...this OS causing lots of issues. Forums say to do factory reset but that offers no guarantee of fix...but would involve potential loss of some app data which I could live with if I knew I'd get my old phone back
