AnonD-676834, 13 Jun 2017I bought this phone on 2013 end, now i regret why i bought ... morei just experienced it.. Mine is it tells me 15% battery low then for like 10 seconds it shuts off and the home screen shows 0% battery and when i tried to charge it, it starts at 0% and then for a few seconds it goes immediately to 40%. weird. maybe my battery is already defective? or my OS has the issue?

I bought this phone on 2013 end, now i regret why i bought this phone, i spend around INR 35k, the biggest problem is the battery is no more working and can't be replaced. when the battery reaches 65% it goes to power off mode. Did everything no luck

vvcvv, 06 Jun 2017its last update is Loli adroid.He is asking custom ROM not the stock and final Android version Sony pushed out for this phone. Custom ROMS can upgrade the device to a newer Android version newer than Android 5.1.1 like Android 6.0.1, 7.0, 7.1.1. Not what Sony update their phones to. Custom ROMs are a whole different story friend. Do u tech at all? Please step aside if u don't

Very bad phones Z series.Don't buy!
Can't record video,photo very fast heating and closing Camera.
Very very suddenly a charging problem occurs.
I am used Z and Z1 very bad phones.If have money make self happy don't buy this bad phone.

Had this phone for only 17 months then it started acting up. All of a sudden it shuts down even at 20% and it only gotten worse like from a full 100% charge I can only use it for like 15minutes then it shuts down saying battery empty. Now I had the battery changed but the problem is it won't charge fully and stops at 75%.
I had good moments with my Z1 as it was my first android phone, I really like the multi-tasking capabilities, but now I am so disappointed with Sony. The problems I mentioned above was an issue 5 years ago until now they could not fix it somehow. And the camera? It's okay but not great only proves that megapixels ain't mean a thing.
With the new Sony phones now, they haven't put much effort into making it standout. I don't see no difference and with the battery issues they have, I'm not buying any Sony phones anymore.

Had the z1 for 4 years and never disappointed. I only swapped it for z5 for a better screen and upgrade to latest android 7 . Otherwise all is good like most Sony I had before

i have been using this phone for 4 years and it works perfect ,no lag ,great camera,but the selfie one its bad :( overall great phone

if only i could find just once android phone like z1(it doesnt have to be sony),so perfect even after more than 3 years,fast,fluid and stable like the first day and thats almost impossible for any of android phones. I did try htc,lg,samsung(the worst performance among all),also alcatel,etc,some of them worked nice,but not even close to z1.

Then they remove some parts inside to take out the battery. It is possible but it makes the phone not waterproof anymore

how could i change my battery? cause it suddenly shut off but i charged it 100 %
