so please if their is a real issue with the xperia compact camera let us discuss it and blame sony if it is real and not blame users.

Got the z1 compact yesterday. Feels good to the hand and very fast processor...the white color is very attractive coz it has contrast on the black color infront...

Really want one of these, bit gutted that I've got about 1 year + about 3 weeks left on my contract. Can't decide whether to do an early upgrade ASAP or do a quick bit of saving up and buy a SIM free one to pop my contract SIM into. Hmmmm decisions decisions!!

I've read his post on Sony forums, he's creating issues that is a user fault by blocking the flash to make the bleeding effect on the output. Too funny he said s4 is better than z1 compact.

Wow, got this yesterday. I upgraded from my old Xperia S. What a difference this is so smooth and quick. I didnt realise how slow my old S was. Granted the CPU is nearly twice as fast and so on. The phone itself is very nice looking and slightly smaller than the S but the same screen size. The Metal body feels amazing.

I got mine with 5000 rs discount on my previous phone's exchange. And after the kitkat update, it feels yet more powerful! Definitely a must buy.

most manufacturers are now coming up with a smaller variant of their flagship devices, and sony, being true to its make.believe vision, does a great job with the xperia z1 compact, without compromising at all on the hardware, in comparison to the z1. the z1 compact is inferior to the z1 only on the basis of the 4.3" vs the 5" screen and therefore the 720p vs the 1080p resolution. interestingly it has a few advantages over the z1. it's obviously lighter and more comfortable to use, has a significantly better battery life as compared to the z1 because of its smaller form factor, and comes with an usb otg cable in the box unlike the z1. the excellent 20.7 mp camera featuring the sony proprietory g lens, the finally improved 2 mp front camera, kitkat already been rolled out and ready to be installed ota, fantastic triluminous ips panel with the x-reality engine, an ip58 dust proof and water resistance certification, the snapdragon 800, 2.2 ghz quad core processor, backed by the adreno 330 gpu, and sony's brilliant customization of android, make the xperia z1 compact a real treat. all in all, this little marvel from sony is here to rock, like.no.other!

yes. i have set the brightness to ... moreIt could be your downloads, depending on what apps you use for the downloading. Check it in Settings, Power Management > Battery to see what apps are sdraining the battery.
Could also be a wifi bug, i have experienced on another Xperia phone that the battery drained in less than a day, after we changed our wifi router the battery last two days easily. You could for example test the wifi setup at another channel than Auto, channel 8 or lower and specify WPA-PSK instead of WPA2-PSK. If you have good reasons to suspect the wifi could be the problem that is, best to not fix it if its not broken.
